More tragic news for the young Islander came on 2nd of June, following a short battle with cancer Jean Resch devoted father of John Resch and loving husband of Vivienne, passed away at home. Jean had dedicated the last 6 years to enabling John to be a speedway rider. Mechanicing, supplying his equipment and teaching him how to care for his bikes. Jean was a perfectionist and always wanted to make sure John was turned out immaculately. He was very skilled and talented man and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Everyone from Isle of Wight speedway send their condolences to John and Vivienne at this very difficult time.

Our thoughts go out to John and family at this sad time... Apparently he was there chearing on his lad at the IOW a week before what a trooper.

RIP
