The same old usual names that it is, in every individual meeting at Newport then

Whose next, Ben Barker? Steve Boxall? Henning Loof? :D

MY ANSWER TO YOU, IS THIS LINE UP ANY BETTER ,

Lewis Bridger (Eastbourne)

Ty Proctor (Wolverhampton)

Ricky Wells (Wolverhampton)

Tyson Burmeister (Wolverhampton)

Kevin Doolan (Ipswich)

Taylor Poole (Ipswich)

Kyle Newman (Newcastle)

Jaimie Pickard (Stoke)

James Sarjeant (Stoke)

Ashley Morris (Dudley)

Travis McGowan

Cory Gathercole

Sam Masters

Christian Hefenbrock

James Holder

Alex Davies

DONT THINK SO REMEMBER.

I reckon this meeting should be replaced now with a league fixture. We have already had three cancelled at home and I doubt that is the last of it either!

Put Newport vs Plymouth on this date instead, I think it makes sense. Will still get a large crowd for it.

But agree with WANNA, it might be better next year to have a league match , if we are still open , the trouble is where have all the wasps fans gone .there is no excuse now , not with the team we have now, so lets hope they all come back , come on you wasps :):t:

Hindsight's a great trait but I have yet to meet anyone whoose got it. Probably too late in the day to make changes now but certainly a topic for discussion next year.

sorry to hear that Totti.

As a speedway "nut" I like all forms of the sport whether it be an amateur meeting, NL, PL , Best Pairs, Individual ...whatever. Would think that many staying down in Cardiff after the GP will be tempted by another meeting 12 miles or so up the road on their way home. Nice leisurely breakfast then on to queensway Meadows for the 1pm start !! :approve:

Oh dear - classic dose of facepalm.

You failed to mention that I also stated it was a dire line up at Somerset, which would of resulted in a long drawn out affair and that I WOULDN'T of been attending.

Time you did your market research then - that's a pretty short sighted view that you think people will support it because 'speedway is speedway'. The simple answer is that they won't, as the majority of people would much rather see a team event.

It's been mentioned time after time, people would rather watch a league meeting between any two sides rather than a pointless individual meeting.

Personally I'm a strong supporter of Individual meetings; after all, you're guaranteed a last heat decider, but as long as it's four riders going round & round in the dirt somewhere I'll be there for sure, even if I have to travel half the flamin' Planet to get there.

The GP isn't a pointless meeting, and includes the top riders in the world. I won't be at Newport, no.

Jeez,it won`t be the same without you,Silver Bee and SCB at Newport, who we going to get to have a whinge about all things Newport? :P

What's the biggest meeting in the UK? Remind me please. Oh, that's right it's the Cardiff GP.

Sounds like another Foot-in-Mouth epidemic in Zummerzett.

More room for us on the second bend, and hopefully no irritating whine from low-flying insects. Any News on the Second Bend Bar?

Back in the day at the Arms Park we used to wear an overcoat with a Longneck in each pocket - once you'd emptied one you could refill it, and once both were full you could - er, ahem - use your mates' pockets!
