Hi there

As part of my research into the 1974 Season, I trying to confirm the correct scores for West Germany's Gerhard Uhlenbrock & Jurgen Herlert.

According to the Speedway Star Uhlenbrock scores 7 and Herlert 1 point, however the heat results tally up as Uhlenbrock scoring 8 points.(Possibly a non finisher in heat 8, 11 or 18 ?)

Does anybody a completed programme to confirm the correct scores and where the error in the heat details arises.

I have also checked the Speedway Mail and they don't even mention West Germany's Score in the report !

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

Think 8 for Uhlenbrock + 1 for Hehlert is correct and West Germany with a total of 9 is the right score.Quite interesting that West Germany were represented by two former East German riders. In fact a few years before they were team mates for MC Dynamo Rostock
