Anders
As I has previous said, I do expect more from Leszno but you gotta give credit to Zielona Gora for beating what's put infront of them. That's all you can do. It's only Hampel among the Leszno riders that looks able to give the top riders of the home side a fight on a regular basis. iris123
See here. Regards. Alan  http://www.zuzel.zgora.pl/plastrony,13.html I imagine we all know that ZG have had the mouse on their jackets as long as we can remember. But the original question is quite a good one. Why?What significance does it have?Or was it just picked out of thin air? brandonbee48
No way belle vue can match coventry unfortunately I was being TOTALLY ironic, my friend. As a Bees fan(atic) in exile, i have the greatest sympathy for owners who don't have VERY deep pockets. That's why you have two heat leaders who are costing you loan fees going to deep pockets in Coventry. What you do about it, i have no solution. Just a reality of life, i'm afraid. I have a deep affection for the Aces-going back to Jack Parker, Peter Craven, soren Sjosten ..... May you prosper in a new stadium. Alan. iris123
Had a look and it seems the mouse hasn't always been on the jacket. It started in 1961.Not sure of the translation, but something to do with Walt Disney/Mickey Mouse and a sponsor or the club  After four years of the PAP have been several changes in the profile of training. As a result of these amendments passed in 1961, PAP section slag under the patronage of Works Council Lubuska Cotton carding factory. On 06.09.1961r. organizational meeting was held in Motor Club "Carding". In the same year Walt Disney movie heroine playful Mickey Mouse was "sponsored" speedway Zielona Gora, and its image thanks to the originators and performers and Andrew Langner Boniface Szurkowskiego plastronach appear on our players to this day. iris123
Local knowledge required there, my friend. Thought you were going to Vojens, or are you back? Alan. Didn't go.There was a weather warning for the German/Denmark border region with high winds, thunder, lightning and some heavy rain with the possibility of branches falling from trees etc.And as Vojens is just over the border i didn't think it worth the risk.As it was,it wasn't too bad here in Hamburg. We had a bit of rain and it was windy at times.About half 6 it got very dark.....
