Well done and we can only guess where you will be next Monday. Regards. Alan. Thanks Next Monday i will be working the following weekend Prague followed by Wembleeee. brandonbee48
Had my first ever taste of Swedish leagure speedway after taking the Premier Sports Subscription. Quite enjoyed it, always look forward to my weekly fix of Sky sports speedway and now this has doubled. yes the commentator is pants !!! But he actually quite amused me. Although I think his novelty may wear off very quickly. Not quite sure the Elite league would have started with that much water on the track especially the large puddle on I think bend 3/4 !!!! Good line ups with no one really trailing off half a lap behind on a regular basis. All in all looks like regular Tuesday night viewing. Another night not talking to the wife ! See another bonus Glad you enjoyed it. Why don't you join us on Sunday for the Polish Extraligue action? Details are in the thread started by Racers and Royals. Then your better half can really have some time to herself! Seriously good coverage (in Polish of course) . I wouldn't miss it for the world (or my wife!) Best wishes. Alan. brandonbee48
Thanks Next Monday i will be working the following weekend Prague followed by Wembleeee. What was GREAT about yesterday-apart from Reading winning ! was that we had a PERFECT hi-def.stream of the Swedish Canal+ coverage to pick from. I was in heaven watching, as a bit of a row developed in the thread over the Premier coverage. Same crew as in previous years-including our beloved Per and pits coverage plus an intermission feature on Tomasz, in Polish with Swedish subtitles. I understood every word I hope we get it every week. It was SERIOUSLY enjoyable- and a good meeting considering the conditions. I'm sure you set your recorder so can see for yourself. Sorry you can't get to Wembley next Monday. Smederna tomorrow-i hope. Regards from a wet Pennsylvania. Alan.

Ghostwalker
Why were Kylmakorpi and Davidsson replaced in heat 15 of the Indianerna meeting please? Edit: and Nermark in his meeting. yep that is correct.
June01
yep that is correct. But were they just normal replacements, or because of falls or injury?

mothorsen
How much of an injury is Rune carrying? He sure isn't his usual self. I know. It's heartbreaking to watch. I surely hope he'll get back in to shape soon. AJ did good last night though. Nice takeovers. Also waiting for L.D. Gunnestad to take his first point in Allsvenskan. manchesterpaul
You seem to have some sort of mental problem. All i said on the subject was i didn't think he was very good,so i watched the Swedish commentary.I did'nt bother to disect each and every comment i didn't like....i just switched over.If that disturbs you in some way i guess you need help We all have the right to choose.Live with it What a very strange comment indeed? Who's disturbed over it? Who said you don't have a right to choose!!! ??? Live with what? It left my mind and memory a second after reading it. I've got a life a little bit busier than having time to mull over a rather odd comment from yourself. I can only presume that your opening phrase is taken from a joke i made in a thread a while ago. Unfortunately, i had no way of suspecting that it held some truth. Have you really been holding on to it all this while itching to use it?, how extremely sad. You might have looked better if you had saved it to use in some sort of context where it would fit a bit better. When i used a similar reference a while ago, and clearly as a lightweight throwaway joke, it was in context of an aspect of the discussion. You can't make cracks about people having mental problems just because they hold an opposing view to yours on a singular topic!!! My clear joke was about a long and detailed chain of postings. Also, you really need to try and grasp what is clearly a joke, do you have trouble grasping 'sense of humour'?. I'm presuming it's not because you lack a sense of humour, not at all, i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt it's because english is not your first language?. Anyways, surely it's for the better of the forum if rather than people having to plough through pages of people being forced to reply to being dragged into post-by-post responses away from the subject matter, use the PM service. A chap in another thread who is reluctantly caught up and targetted in an endless cycle of having to respond to similar posts whenever he makes a post in a thread, suggested that the other party/parties use the PM service. It would certainly save all users from having to wade through irrelevant posts. I certainly remember suggesting the same a long time ago, as unfortunately, it's impossible to ever have enough moderators to universally enforce the 'attack the post and not poster' ideal and remove all off-topic posts from a thread. If anyone has a dislike or problems with a member, don't inflict it on others use the PM service? iris123
Have absolutely no idea what you are going on about in the first part of your post.No idea whatsoever.hand on heart Maybe you would just like in a calm moment,go back through this thread and have a look at who took it of on a tangent and who seemed to get more and more hysterical with every post Drama Queen comes to mind We are friendly folk here in the International section.Always willing to help each other out with information.Think there are other sections of the forum where your OTT posts fit in better.I had a bit of a chuckle, just like you can when a kid gets hysterical......as long as it isn't your own But time to draw a line under this and maybe practice what you preach and keep to one thread rather than posting the same thing on a number in different sections.Gets a bit confusing for those in the other one
brandonbee48
We are friendly folk here in the International section Exactly why i like posting here, and NOT in the Elite League section. I am far too old to get argumentative with anyone. I have been a fan(atic) of this sport for 60 years now. I still get a thrill every time i see riders come to the tapes. I presume everyone else does too. I LOVE watching the Polish and Swedish leagues. For what it is worth, more so than the Elite league, though others will differ. So be it. I await with baited breath the introduction of "smellovision" so we can get the authentic methanol fueled atmosphere. Lets all have the proverbial "drink" together and respect each others views. 'Allsvensken" this evening ( afternoon for me here in the USA) and Poland on Sunday. I look forward to joining you all. Kindest regards. Alan. I couldn't get the signal to cross the Atlantic last week. I added methanol to my computer but it didn't work I caught up with all three matches yesterday thanks to the link from Racers and Royals. I'll know in a couple of hours whether i can watch my "adopted" Swedish team of Smederna. " Come on you Blacksmiths!" All the best from a very wet Pennsylvania. You wouldn't have had much speedway here in the last month, i can tell you. Alan.

Well the last time i introduced one of the family to the sport it didn't go very well.Took my nephew to Wimbledon, must be over 20 years ago now and even though we were behind glass in the grandstand,he cried his eyes out as soon as the noisy bikes came out Maybe with the new silencers i won't have the same problem with my kids
