Edwardian....thanks for the score....Can you tell us what happened to G Blair...I can see his name in only one heat when he got a 2nd. Is it due to his 2 engine blow-outs last week I wonder!

Sorry about that June yes Greg had engine probes. Garrity did not show.

Oh shame I feel for the kid. he's given us so much excitement in his Saints meetings, and he looked like he was in tears on the centre green when his 2nd engine went in heat 15 last week...speedway can be cruel!....great to have Saints 1st and 3rd......Congratulations to the Worrall twins.

Hi Edwardian. Thanks for the time and effort you took for the details.

STING Fund you have a seriously deserving cause in Greg. Hope he's back in the saddle soon.

Sting only do Scorpions.....not enough members to cover both teams. GP sweepstake is for the Saints.

Only three riders in each heat? How do they score: 3-2-1 or 2-1-0?

Hi it wasn't 3 riders in all the heats I just put 1st 2nd 3rd for the quickest sorry for the confusion, but in some the heats there were only 3 riders but was told it was still

3 2 1. Heat 7 there were only 2 riders no J Garrity no B Taylor. And heat 10 2 riders only as Greg had bike probs and again :( no J Garrity. Out of 12 riders there were

2 missing Garrity and Taylor, Peter Johnson was in for Daniel Halsey.

Second year on the trot that Garrity failed to show for this meeting - very poor by him. Felt for Blair who blew an engine on 4th bend last lap of his second ride whilst well clear.

Ritchie Worrall was superb and a very worthy winner - not bad considering he did not score a point at this meeting last year. Steve Worrall did well enough - but due to the formula used rode against Davey 3 times which made it hard for him. Very impressed by Pickard who was giving it his absolute all.

Take my hat off to all the riders who gave it a go - heavy shower just before the start and then constant drizzle made conditions tough.

Thanks. Could you post also riders finished 4th in each heat? I'd like to put those results in my website.

Just for the record Ben Taylor was injured at Newport on the Monday and Redcar were informed accordingly.

That was indeed mentioned, Arlo Bugeja was going to replace him but did not have the correct license.

Anybody know what License Arlo did have?? Seems a bit odd to me that after having ridden here for a number of years - suddenly he has the wrong License.

Jason had informed Redcar at Buxton the previous Sunday he wouldn't be there due to a family friend's funeral, a bit unfair on the kid to be blamed for not turning up when he had already told them he wouldn't be coming.
