However, I can definitely say that they ride at the Eskilstuna track, the same as Ikaros Smederna.

Anders
Thanks Anders. And apparently Linus Eklöf is to ride for both Eskilstuna teams??? How can this happen? First time i have heard of a rider that rides officially for two teams in the same league As of last year, there are virtually no limitations on team building in Division 1. No limits on maximum or minimum average limit, or the numbers of guests allows. All riders with a Swedish license can ride anywhere they like, in principle. One might say that Division 1 has turned into a kind of reserve team league, where line-ups can be put together at random will.
Ghostwalker
mothorsen. daniel g rides with a norwegian license which means he can only ride for one team in sweden since only swedish riders can be guestriders . and only guestriders can ride in multiple swedish leagues. anyway a pretty good meeting so far ill explain more when i get home, my phone is starting to have low battery level. Absolutely. Luckily the stream is working like a charm today. I guess Smedarna has got this one, but it has been some entertaining speedway, especially for last point. Anders
Anders, or someone who follows Rospiggarna, Do you have any idea why Katajisto haven´t been riding for Rospiggarna? Can't admit that I follow Rospiggarna more than in general, but I'll give it a shot. With Andreas Jonsson as a guest rider to a 3,454 (heat) average, that takes up a lot of the 11,250 maximum average. If they also use three of the other four top riders (Simon Gustafsson, Kauko Nieminen, Kim Nilsson, Ludvig Lindgren) available, they simple are too top heavy for him to fit, even with his smallish 1,110 average. I'm sure I heard that AJ has agreed to ride all league meetings with Rospiggarna, which is a problem for Kalle. To increase his chance of riding, Rospiggarna may only use three of the five riders mentioned, and than he still has to compete with Timo Lahti and Andreas Messing for two places, as second strings, in the line-up. Also, Rospiggarna have many riders who rides in the British leagues, so availability is most definitely a factor for team manager Mikael Teurnberg. However, I don't know if that's the case with Kalle so far. Not much of a definite answer, but that's all I have. Speculation, that is. It might be easier if I list the riders available, so you can get an overview of it all. Their squad: Kauko Nieminen (2,219), Ludvig Lindgren (1,784), Kim Nilsson (1,738), Timo Lahti (1,297), Andreas Messing (1,196), Robin Burestad (1,130), Kalle Katajisto (1,110), David Hillborg (0,840), Robin Messing (0,783), Linus Lydin (0,500), Jari Mäkinen (0,500) Guests: Andreas Jonsson (3,454), Simon Gustafsson (2,000) Regulation for team building in Allsvenskan is a maximum of 11,250 for the 7 riders. Three must be Swedish, and at least one of them must be a junior.
Ghostwalker
really great performance from Smederna. A bit of a bad luck with THJ in heat 9 but Henrik Karlsson showed that he want to be in the mainbody of the team next week. . Anyway the track was good today with lots of passings which was nice too see. Good attendance as well 1291 people, the weather was ok and we were lucky that the rain stayed away until the meeting was over. I think Örnarna should consider themselves "pleased" that they only lost ith 10p could have been more. For next week i think that Gunnestad should be given a chance to show that he wants to be in the team, despite that Rasmus Eklöf rode well today.. Örnarna co-team manager said that the result was a smaller disaster for them. Riders of the meeting: Henrik Karlsson and PK. Henrik Karlsson probably made his best performance in his career so far, tonight and PK showed that he still finds his way around one of his favourite tracks. He is ALWAYS fast around the Eskilstuna track. next weeks meetings: Örnarna-Masarna Rospiggarna- Ikaros Smederna Griparna- FNC Gnistorna. Robbie B
Great win by the Blacksmiths tonight. Being a Ikaros Smederna fan, next week league match against Rospiggarna, looks very interesting. I hope we can win this this one, but it's gonna be very tough, especailly away from home. I may say that it's brilliant for the Allsvenskan league to show its league matches live and for free every week. I don't think that the Premier League would ever do this. Ghostwalker
Is L.D. Gunnestad injured or is it his lack of scoring that is keeping him of the team? Haven't seen him in the line-up for the Divisjon 1 team either. There is no update on the Smedarna hompage as to why he isn't riding aswell. Haven't seen younger brother Thomas in any line-up in Sweden this year either. Oh, and big plus for having AC/DC playng inbetween the action. Hard rock and speedway, oh yes! I actually have read an interview with LDG now and he says that he have problems with his engines. He is currently home in Norway and working, so that he can afford to buy new parts for his engines. He hopes to have the problems sorted within 2-3 weeks. He also says that as a Norwegian he can only represent one team in Sweden but he intends to move to Sweden for next season so that he can be able to ride on a Swedish license which would allow him to ride for more then one team in Sweden. Thanks. The Norwegian league is starting next weekend, and the first round is about 15 min. from my home, so i might get to see him in action then, riding for Drammen (although I hope for Riska victory ). Ghostwalker
Its thursday again and you know what that means! Allsvenskan live on the net. Tonights meetings are Rospiggarna vs. Ikaros Smederna Örnarna vs. Masarna Griparna - FNC Gnistorna The current standings are: Ikaros Smederna, 3 wins, 1 tied, 7p Rospiggarna, 3 wins, 1 loss, 6p Masarna, 2 win and 1 tied, 5p Örnarna, 1 win, 2 losses, 2p Griparna, 1 win, 2 losses, 2p FNC Gnistorna, 1 win, 2 losses, 2p Avantia, 4 losses, 0p So except for the top 3 its very close. Lineups; Rospiggarna - Ikaros Smederna Rospiggarna Kim Nilsson (SE) Andreas Messing (SE) Simon Gustafsson (SE) Ludvig Lindgren (SE) Andreas Jonsson (SE) Jari Mäkinen (FI) Linus Lydin (SE) A very strong looking lineup, Rospiggarna should be considered to be the favourites in this meeting. Last week: Rospigagrna suffered a narrow defeat home against Masarna, partially because AJ had some problems with his bike causing him to miss the 2 min limit and partially because Masarna rode very well. Ikaros Smederna Magnus Zetterström (SE) Daniel Henderson (SE) Thomas h Jonasson (SE) Ricky Kling (SE) Henrik Karlsson (SE) Linus Eklöf (SE) Rasmus Eklöf (SE) Rasmus Broberg (SE) Smederna will have to manage without Kenni Larsen who is occupied in Britain tonight, Thomas H Jonasson who isn't feeling well after a crash in Poland (or was it Latvia) last weekend and Emil Pulcynski who have commitments in Poland, Ricky Kling will replace THJ as nr 3 and it will be Ricky's debute with Smederna. This also means that both of the Rasmuses will ride as nr 6 and 7, IT will be a very tough meeting for Smederna but they can do it. I think Zorro and Eklöf will continue to deliver but Danny and Henke need to step it up and scores a few mre point then they have done previously from the mainbody of the team. Hopefully R&R can bring in a point or two each aswell. Last week: Smederna took an impressive win @ home over Örnarna. Worth noting is that 13 out of 14 riders are Swedish and that 5½ out of Smedernas riders are their own products, Daniel Henderson is originally from Stockholm were he started his career at Gamarna but he have been riding for Smederna for the enitire part of his 500cc career. He is the little brother of former speedway rider Robert Henderson (who has switched to ice racing) and Daniel is also the nephew of Kenny Olsson who tragically was killed in accident at Kråkvilan a few years ago, predection; 48-42 but i hope for the opposite. Örnarna vs. Masarna Örnarna Peter Karlsson (SE) Christian Agö (SE) Jonas Davidsson (SE) Robin Aspegren (SE) Henrik Gustafsson (SE) Niklas Eriksson (SE) Pontus Nilsson (SE) Örnarna made a weak impression last week and need to do allot better tonight if they want win. PK is back in the mainbody of the team after a solid performance at the reserve last week and imo it will make the team stronger. The other change is that Magnus Karlsson is out and Henrik Gustafsson is in. Last week: Örnarnas lost away against Smederna and wasnt really near of winning that meeting. Masarna: Pontus Aspgren (SE) Eric Andersson (SE) Antonio Lindbäck (SE) Jacob Thorssell (SE) Sebastian Aldén (SE) Anton Rosén (SE) Andreas Westlund (SE) Can Masarna repeat last weeks performance? if they do i think they have a very good chance of winning especially since Anto9b continues to show good form. Last week: A narrow victory away against Rospiggarna. Prediction: 44-46 Griparna - FNC Gnistorna Griparna Daniel Davidsson (SE) Juha Hautamäki (FI) Kennet Hansen (DK) Alexander Edberg (SE) Mads Korneliussen (DK) Robin Törnqvist (SE) John Lindman (SE) Mads Korneliuseen is back into the team after a period with injuries which should give Griparna some more strength which they need if the intend to defeat Gnistorna. Last week: Griparna took a comfortable away win last week against avantia in Norrköping. FNC Gnistorna Jesper V Kristiansen (DK) Robert Pettersson (SE) David Ruud (SE) Christian Isomettä (SE) Mikael Max (SE) Oliver Berntzon (SE) Mathias Thörnblom (SE) Gnsitorna with Ruud are up against a good team and i think Ruud and Max need to be close to maximum points if Gnistorna should have a chance against Griparna. as the rest of the team doesn't look as Griparna's team. Last week: Gnistorna didn't have a meeting last week prediction: 50-40 The weather is looking pretty good with partially sunny weather during the afternoon with less clouds towards the evening. live scores available at: http://www.svemo.se/Grenar/Speedway/ and streams at http://live.speedwayallsvenskan.se All meetings starts at 19.00 Swedish time / 6pm UK time.
