Glad everyone seems ok.I was one of the people who saw the news yesterday on Facebook.Well i saw the photo of the overturned bus put up by zetters, but didn't know who was involved or what happened.Just saw a comment in english "talk to me stephen" then the rest was in Swedish.I actually thought zetters came across the bus and took a photo.Close call and very lucky, especially those that even got to see the speedway :t: :t:

Fingers crossed for a Smederna win. Looking at the line-ups have a feeling it could be close. Walk to the stadium-don't get on a bus!

Best wishes. Alan.

Went by bus, no probs tight score should

Have been a few more up for smederna.

Quite slick track. :(

Heat 10 what a disappointment. Zorro Must do better then this.

Berntzon & Eklöf are doing good though.

A 5-1 in ht11 is a must to keep the hope alive.

It turned out ok eventually. Zorro obviously must have heard me since he finished with 3,3,2. so i forgive him for the two 1's. :D;)

To summarize, a few good heats but quite much processional racing. IMO we have to be pleased with a tied score

when neither PK or Kenni rode. I so thought we would loose after heat 12. But very impressive to come back from

8p behind to manage a tied score.

Linus Eklöf seems to be going in the right direction when it comes to his form.

No meetings next week, but on June 28th this meetings will happen:

  • Masarna -Ikaros Smederna
  • FNC Gnistorna - Rospiggarna
  • Örnarna - Griparna

full list of fixtures can be found in this post.

i've picked two possible lineups for next weeks meeting vs. Masarna.

  1. Ricky Kling
  2. Oliver Berntzon
  3. Magnus Zetterström
  4. Linus Eklöf
  5. Peter Karlsson
  6. Szymon Wozniack
  7. Rasmus Broberg

or this:

  1. Linus Eklöf
  2. Ricky Kling
  3. Magnus Zetterström
  4. Oliver Berntzon
  5. Peter Karlsson
  6. Henrik Karlsson
  7. Daniel Henderson

build your own team by using any of these documents:

Just change the rider names and their averages and the document will re-calculate towards the average cap.

The upper number will show how much cap space that is used and the lower number will show how much cap space that

is remaining. If the lower number gets below 0,000 the lineup is not possible,

Entry average is for calculating towards the cap roof (11,250) while the floating averages is used to decide the reserves,

Do not edit the the two lower lines as it would cause the auto-summary to stop working,

¨NO PK, Kenni or Wozniack on Thursday. Seems like Kenni and Woznaiak or occupied almost every Thursday despite

Kenni's schedule says that he's available.

Not sure about Szymon? He seems to have the same Polish youth league races as the Pulcynski brothers.

So if i could dream for a while i wouldn't mind replacing Szymon with David Ruud. I realize that it probably would

be to expensive but imagine what lineups we could have;

  1. Magnus Zetterström 2,229
  2. Kenni Larsen 1,914
  3. Ruud 2,172
  4. Oliver Berntzon 1,16
  5. Peter Karlsson 2,176
  6. Daniel Henderson 0,918
  7. Rasmus Broberg 0,5

11,069

or

  1. Magnus Zetterström 2,229
  2. Ricky Kling 1,595
  3. Ruud 2,172
  4. Oliver Berntzon 1,16
  5. Peter Karlsson 2,176
  6. Daniel Henderson 0,918
  7. Henrik Karlsson 0,914

11,164

or

  1. Magnus Zetterström 2,229
  2. Linus Eklöf 1,635
  3. Ruud 2,172
  4. Oliver Berntzon 1,16
  5. Peter Karlsson 2,176
  6. Daniel Henderson 0,918
  7. Henrik Karlsson 0,914

11,204

I really miss our Thursday get- togethers though i would have missed yesterday with work. A great comeback and drama like that- getting back level after 13 heats and then coming good i'm sure proved very entertaining. Well done the Blacksmiths. :t:

Regards. Alan.

It was a very close and tense meeting all the way to the chequered flag in heat 15.

Curly rode very well, good to see that his form is on the rise. :) another special mention should goto

Rasmus Broberg. 3+2 from him yesterday despite being sidelined for most of the season.

His move in heat 2 was "sensational" although he didn't manage to get any point from it,

it was still a nice performance. Rasmus started from gate 2, with Agö on he outside and Nilsson on the inside.

The two Örnarna riders took the start and moved into a team riding position. However Rasmus found a

non-existing gap between them and just dived into it.

Unfortunately Rasmus just didn't have quite enough speed and the Örnarna boys could pull away from him.

Fortunately Henrik Karlsson rode well and managed to pass both Nilsson and Agö and secure 3p.

Heat 8 was a total mess as well.

First start attempt: a very nasty looking crash (typical first bend crash) bikes and riders all over the place.

Luckily all riders managed to escape without injuries and they all could ride in the restart.

Second attempt: Swisch Agö does T/T.

Third attempt: In comes Nilsson and reprises Agö's move and does a T/T as well.

Fourth attempt: all three riders successfully manages to gate, Misiek shows that he have not forgotten

how to ride around Smedstadion (he used to ride for Smederna until Smederna went broke).

Henderson and Broberg gets the freebie points.

Heat 14, Smederna's own Batman and Robin does again, bringing home another 5-1 victory for Smederna.

Heat 15, Batman and Robin gates but Batman was passed by Alexandr Lokatajew at the end of the first or second lap,

securing a 46-44 victory for Smederna and 3 team points. :)

I wasn't particular happy with the track though, too slick for my taste resulting in mostly processional racing.

So more grip on the outside please.

Truly embarrassing by Smederna so far

First 1 hour delay due to track grading.

When the meeting finally start Smederna allows

three 1-5 in the first 3 heats. Kenni lead all the way

but gets an ef 40m from the finish line.

Heat 2 henrik k does is usual tapa massacre and

henderson far behind.

Heat 3 Zorro and Linus gates but Zorro goes

Linus to wide and bith grip riders can pass.

Ht 4 pk misses the gate byt eventually takes 3p
