Fozzie4388
wouldnt be surprised at Chessell on 3.42 been the one replaced by a 3pt rider.
Brummie Kev
Good Signing for the Heathens, Kyle is a top rider at this level and a rider that the Heathens fans should love watching. He never knows when hes beaten and gives 100% out on the track.
Jayne
Interesting, is Kyle still in Poole's 1-7 as I was under the impression you couldn't be in a NL and EL 1-7 at the same time.

BobC
Interesting, is Kyle still in Poole's 1-7 as I was under the impression you couldn't be in a NL and EL 1-7 at the same time. I understand that this has been checked and verified. He is eligible to ride in all 3 Leagues. No problems for Kyle to join the Heathens. As it stands,I believe he will only miss 2 Heathens meetings due to fixture clash.

Jayne knows the rules - but Kyle rides for Poole as their token Brit (well he's named but how often will he ride?) - so no problem with him riding all 3 Leagues... 21st century heathen
The reason I guessed at Baseby was that I wasn't expecting a second change to be made despite hearing on Tuesday that it could be the case. Happy to have Kyle signed up though. I think he'll do a good job and could put a point on his start average. Welcome aboard Kyle. Enjoy the ride!! ------------------------ Re: The rules. Which rule is believed to prevent him riding all three leagues? Wasn't Roynon named in all three leagues at the start of the season? Didn't Cook have a place in all three leagues last season? Cheers. It has always been the case that you couldn't ride in the NL if you were in a EL 1-7 right back to when Bridger first went from CL (as it was then) to EL. Cook and Roynon were number 8's so not relevant.
greyhoundp
This is a smart move by the Heathens management, but it will prove to be a little controversial i feel, even in my own mind as a Die hard Heathens fan i am not 100% happy with it for the following reasons. 1. I dont like to see other riders released just b,cuz of the numbers game,2. It doesnt rest easy with me to see some riders with 2/3 Teams while other riders have no Team to ride for, Young English guys on the Scrapheap at what 22/23 nope, i feel uncomfortable about it, Plus points yes it will strengthen our Top end, but will it strengthen our tail end ?? because it seems to me we will need to bring in a new 3 pointer, and as other Teams have found out, there are not many of the NL standard around. But welcome on board Kyle, i look forward to seeing you in a Heathens race jacket, and good luck for the future to whoever is released. SCB
There doesnt appear to be any rule preventing EL riders riding in the NL, unlike in the past.

Fourentee
He couldn't get into our team if he wanted. He'll be gutted, especially after turning up to watch the Buxton match. Ah well, back to the GPs!
21st century heathen
It has always been the case that you couldn't ride in the NL if you were in a EL 1-7 right back to when Bridger first went from CL (as it was then) to EL. Cook and Roynon were number 8's so not relevant. Genuine request please Jayne (not trying to stir or catch anyone out etc). Which rule do you believe would prevent Kyle lining up for the Heathens? You seem quite sure of you position, but Nigel seems equally so. Extract from the press release on the Dudley website. http://www.dudleyheathens.co/news.php?extend.309 Said Pearson: "Before announcing the signing of Kyle we checked with Graham Reeve at the SCB, I also personally checked with a leading referee, plus we had the support of Matt Ford at Poole and George English at Newcastle because we wanted to be sure they were happy with this move. Both are also BSPA management committee members. "I also double-checked with Peter Morrish, the National League co-ordinator, and there is no rule to prevent a young British rider appearing in three different leagues. We have done this in a professional and manner by going through the correct channels." It would be rather silly if there was a rule preventing DU Brits from riding in the NL but not No. 8's. In real terms it makes no difference to the Heathens as Poole could just drop Kyle as a DU and name his as their No. 8. They have not named a No. 8 this season so Kyle would be able to do that and still be called on by Poole as required. That said some EL clubs seem to think using your No 8 shouldn't be allowed!!!
