Islander15
Is Micky Dyer an option? I know he's an aussie but does he fit into dual-nationality so he can do NL?
greyhoundp
I am 99% sure Micky doesnt have dual or partriality, we will have to find him an english wife i know Jake anderson does, but he has opted to stay in aussie land for this season. Unforunatley Mickey hasnt got dual nationality so isnt an option which is a real shame - if he had i would imagine he would have been in the team from the start of the season. rhidassa
whats happened to danny warwick Didn't get a team place over the winter, though he was looking for one. Currently mechanicing for Renat Gafurov, but as far as I know, would love a chance to get back on track racing.

Someone could make a useful team out of all these out of work riders... Why, there's even an (unused..) track I can think of...!!

Give them a team someone please...... :D
21st century heathen
My post copied from Cradley forum Right, having sat back and thought it through a couple of options present themselves. In the absence of a full 2011 rules and reg's book I may be coming to some wild conclusions. The new rolling averages have come in to play for those that have done enough meetings. Joe Haines is listed on the BSPA website as having a 2010/11 PL RA of 3.43. Assuming a conversion rate of x2 that makes his NL average, if it becomes applicable, 6.86. He is by far the best option I can find as a straight replacement for Roynon, and leaves us .91 under the points limit. A similar alternative would be Newman but I think he's an Aussie? Next up would be Charles Wright who would be 7.34, but I'd prefer Haines. Baseby has been mooted by many on his NL ave 6.93 and/or Danny Warwick on 7.41. Each of these could do a solid middle order job. Anderson has been mentioned too but unless the rules have changed he could not come back in, even if he could be tempted over, without permission from the MC under rule 17.4.3 (preventing a rider in last seasons 1-7 but not in the initial declaration being re-introduced). James Birkinshaw is another to have been mentioned and could certainly do a job at this level. In fact, given his link to Bham I was a little surprised he wasn't with us last season. He doesn't fit as a direct replacement. His last average in the NL was 8.42. To bring him in we would need to release another rider which could leave room for the like of Wrathall, Dallaway or Young. Thoughts? Additional What average would Simon Walker be on? p.s. Dyer would be in the same boat as Anderson re: rule 17.4.3 even if he were otherwise eligible. roguetrader
No, they changed the rules in the off season. Not correct. Dyer did not have a youth mobility visa last season so with no patriality he was riding ilegally.
Swift Saint
A very interesting and inventive methodology for the use of Joe Haines. The average used (As in the case of (Adam Roynon)would be his final Conference League average of 2008 which would be in the region 11.00. Cant see that fitting Malcolm Vasey

whippy
What average would Simon Walker be on? Neil Machin might know. Could be around 9.
Islander15
What average would Simon Walker be on? His last PL average was 5.10. So would that be doubled or use an ancient CL average?
greyhoundp
So following the announcement of the signing of Kyle Newman, who goes ? and who comes in to replace the rider who is unfortunate to lose his place, the guy who is going wont be Darryl Ritchings as if he went the Heathens would i believe still be above the points limit, so the goings and comings continue.
