The Illustrated History Of 100+ British Speedway Tracks

Received my copy of this book today, and although not cheap at £27.99, in my opinion it is worth every penny!

Covering in total 120 tracks with team photos, programme covers, badges and famous rider photos plus a write up on each track, this book deserves a place in any serious speedway book collection!

I can even excuse the picture of the dodgy looking geezer in the announcers box at Sittingbourne

Seriously though highly recomended :approve:

But if one is bringing out a book which is the history of Speedway tracks and, er, is heavily illustrated -how many titles do you think are available accurately to describe it...

Don't bite mate, he is not worth it :wink:

Er, well it's NOT the same title is it.. Pay attention!

It's the same title like the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Telegraph used to be. Or all those various dictionary publications that have the word dictionary in them. Typical Speedguy (non) point.

I can't see any posts by speedguy only answers to him and what exactly does your last sentence mean?

It's quoted on post 5.

To olddon :- my comment refers to the pointlessness of Speedguy's original post.

Well all I can see in regard to a speedyguy quote is that Martin Rogers wrote a book with a similar title years ago. Seems a reasonable comment to me. He didn't seem to be criticising the new book in any way.

It seems to me - that between you and speedyguy, the pair of you have turned this section into a complete pigs ear….:rofl:
