speedibee
Sheffield would not be able to track a guest for a rider ,on u21 duty riding for Aus , but the rulebook does'nt mean anything to the BSPA unless your face does'nt fit. Kings Lynn have had their "favour" returned ,and Plymouth probably feellike they are owed Edited April 22, 2011 by speedibee
Tsunami
A PL team can sign 1 protected asset each year that becomes an asset without turning a wheel. Glasgow done it with Peter Juul Larsen in 2008, Nick Morris in 2009 and Michael Penfold in 2010. Not true. A team can ride a rider but doesn't get in enough meetings for an average(which is now 8 meetings). He is a protected asset then and other teams cannot claim him. The original team must then include him in the next years 1 to 7, at the start of the next season, otherwise he becomes a free agent again and can ride for anyone. Peter Larsen IIRC, rode only 11 meetings in his first year at Glasgow and was stuck on a 7 point average, having broken his leg I believe. At the next AGM, the BSPA reduced his average to I think 5 to Glasgow, and 4 to anyone else, to help him get a teamplace as his form before the break was in the order of about 4. I hope so but I don't see it happening any time soon I'm pretty sure Ned will be riding in (at least) Denmark in 2014, so technically hasn't left the sport to 'make a comback.' I didn't think he was still riding, plus I meant a comeback to the UK So why post it I miss watching him ride and I wondered what the chances are

IMO.
