ladyluck
You know what I mean! No spectacular tumbles? Edit: if he's better than Kolodziej he should be in the GPs, surely? He gets his GP chance on Saturday. Perhaps he's saving spectacular tumbles for then, as he didn't manage any tonight.

HenryW
Full video of the Daugavpils versus Gniezno meeting, but, be aware, the commentator makes Sky's SirShoutalot seem positively calm: I've heard some commentary from him (or someone very much like him) in the past from Daugavpils...He seems to have modelled his commentary style on the bloke that does Somerset videos Edit - Loved the commentator's effort at the start of heat 6...I couldn't hope to type it the way he screams it, so a direct link to that point in the video is probably required. . * Also wondering if he was given a script for the race, as he seemed quite shouty certain that Lebedev was gonna get to the front as soon as the tapes went up there * Put the link in a little before the start of the race to catch the lovely way he says Lewis Bridger's name as well Edited April 25, 2011 by HenryW
ladyluck
Sparta Wroclaw has apologised for the state of the track for yesterday's meeting against Falubaz which was watched by a crowd estimated at 10,000. That's a very decent crowd for Wroclaw, but the most remarkable thing about it is that fully a fifth of the crowd were from the Green Mountain. Noticed this a few weeks ago....have you recently bought a book on Poland? As after years of never mentioning it you an't stop going on about the Green Mountain town formerly known as Grünberg...not exactly sure why Bromberg got its name, but i guess we can start calling it the Blackberry Mountain town? ladyluck
I have several books on Poland. Anyway, here's video footage of the controversial crash in Ht 14 of the Rzeszow versus Torun meeting: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/26/zobacz-wypadek-holty-i-miedzinskiego-wideo/ Brings back memories of Hancock cartwheeling down the Marketa track several years ago, but one suspects Chris Harris (riding in red) will get a more sympathetic hearing than was afforded Mr Pedersen. iris123
....and here is the heat before and what sportowefakty at the time described as a"phenomenal" battle between Chris Harris and Michael Jepsen Jensen
