This has all been very interesting, but average speeds are just that, average. They don't take into account peak of acceleration down the straights that on the bigger tracks with long length runs is hitting around 70 plus mph dropping right down to around 35 ish on the slowest point of the corner. I would like radar guns or similar positioned at the end of each straight to record the actual peak of acceleration speed, I think people would be really impressed with what that would reveal..!

So am I right to assume that no track records have been broken this year??

Heard a whisper that Cookie has dropped the "new" Leicester TR - can anyone confirm?

Are any others lowered?

Does anyone have any information regarding some defunct tracks?

Robert Lambert has the national league track record at Kings Lynn with a time of 59:50

Many thanks, now updated.

Not bad at all - under 2secs outside of Nicki Pedersens senior track record...

Steve Boxall having a good week!

Lowered the six and a half year all-time Mildenhall track record to 49.6 seconds today!!

49.68secs to be precise Parsnips old fruit - remember, they have one of those flash stop watches at West Row! ;) Now deep in my memory banks (too deep to retrieve at my age!) I seem to recall a track years ago saying they intended to put in a laser beam finishing line - anybody else remember that? And where was it?

I said on here years ago that Laser Beam Start/Finish Line would be far better than Tapes. :t::approve:
