Having had a chat with one of the riders ivolved it was according to him "nothing to do with the silencers"

Doesn't surprise me. Quite a few youngsters in that meeting, and Puszakowski wasn't even in the races with falls. I guessed it was more his own feelings than actual problems with them.

Exactly.I have seen some of these kids riding since they were 12 and even on the small 80cc bikes7tracks they were no different.highly competitive on track, but good friends off it.I said in 2006(searched through some stuff i posted here back then yesterday)that Liglad was like a little Nicki Pedersen.Him and Mikkel B want to win everything. And have the belief that they can do it.If they are involved in a few crashes on the way to the top i for one wouldn't be surprised.Same with Dennis Andersson.Another i have seen crash a few times and one i tipped back in 2006 as "one for the future" :approve:

Back from a thoroughly enjoyable day at Holsted.Had a chat to Mads Korneliussen(on crutches with damaged knee ligaments)+ Michael Palm Toft about wednesdays meeting at Vojens.Mads did say the track was crap and the new silencers were to cause for one or two of the incidents. He said rain had made the top surface like soap and the inconsistency along with the silencer caused the bikes to shoot off.On the other hand Palm Toft said the track was brilliant and he was riding round the outside of people like a good un!!!So you pays your money and you take your choice on the subject.

Up first and the cause of me having to get up earlier than i thought, because Peter S and his team wanted the 80cc meeting run at 10:00 rather than the previously advertised 16:00 :o:P That is because they want to watch the GP and before that they have to get the bikes ready for tomorrows YGT qualis. So thanks Peter :( No,it was good to see you again if you look in.And good luck to Simon tomorrow

Apparently there were 6 of the 8 riders that are in the Danish national squad in todays meeting,so i unknowingly picked a good one

Also forgot to mention the little ginger haired kid kitted out in Jason Crump colours :P

In the 500cc i missed 1 heat talking to someone,so can't give the results until i see the final scores!!!But Klaus jakobsen,Jesper Kristiansen and Mikkel Michelsen led Glumsø to victory and Outrup only really had a great performance from Michael Palm Toft to be happy about. As ever Patrick Bjerregaard was fighting all the way for Holsted and Rasmus Jensen had a good comeback from injury.Esbjerg were led by Charlie Gjedde and another good meeting from Kasper Lykke Nielsen.Nanna Jørgensen was just beautiful......

Thanks Doug. Really good to see you again. Had to go just after the 80cc meeting to change one of Simons engines (blown crankshaft  ) . He went fine on the sunday, next step is semifinals in Holsted on the 29th.

See you

Peter

Really good meeting last night at Holsted.Holsted 42 -Holstebro 42.Some good battles between Nicki + Bjarne.Nicolai getting stuck in.Was very impressed with young Loktaev and his comrade Karpov wasn't far behind.Unfortunately he had a crash and hurt his shoulder.Got to say all the riders gave a good account of themselves.Good to see Kevin in his new kevlars,Jonas B,Patrick Bjerregaard a bit unlucky as ever,Henrik Möller seems to be getting back to the form he was in a few years back. And Risager was in the pits with Nicolai and looking cheery and showing off his finger. Apparently Nicki had a crash with an Elk on his way back from Sweden.Seems JJ was very lucky.Couple of minutes before he got out of the passenger seat to have a sleep. That is where the Elk impacted and those things are bloody big and do a lot of damage.

Hope for another good meeting today in Wolfslake

Is it still a 3-leg final? When/where are the others, if so?

Friday August 5th at Esbjerg is round 2.

2nd round is 05.08 in Esbjerg.Has it ever been held over 3 rounds?

Kenni Larsens schedule only have two rounds listed. So i guess there are only 2 rounds.

Nikki has put a couple of Photos on his Facebook page, of the inside and the outside of the damaged van. Must have been a bit frightening, no news or photos of the Elk BTW.

c'mon Kenni Larsen :approve:
