Mikkel B once again showing why, along with Liglad, he is one of the hotest danish prospects. He must have something if such a global brand like Red Bull have decided to back him . Both lads are going to be hits if they ever come over to GB to race.

Michelsen was unlucky not to qualify, very dissapointed according to his Facebook, but he has plenty of chances left, and is no doubt going to be a star aswell. Once again impressed with Palm Toft and his result at Glumso, especially if he did break the Track Record

Niklas Porsing will be dissapointed though, especially after his performance last week.

Mikkel has had problems with his bikes.Last week he told me he had blown 3 engines so far this season. All from the same tuner. And then the problem in the run-off with Porsing as well.Seems correct that Michael Palm Toft did break the track record. But like has so often been posted.A track record is just timed by a guy with a stop watch......but still impressive all the same.He knows it is almost a make or break season and seems to be really going for it.Someone like Newport could make a good signing there???

Not too sure if Tarp is ok to ride.He pulled out of the Neuenknick meeting injured on sunday.Outrup look very strong from 1-4 anyway, although i do think Kenni Larsen goes better in England than Denmark.

52-33 to Outrup

..rather dull and one sided (and slow) meeting

Mads Korneliussen got a maximum (16+2), Iversen 16+1, and Kenni Larsen (13+3) rather flattened the opposition. Hansen and and Monberg top scored for the visitors and Jablonski had engine problems (including an ef while leading).

Toft was best of the youngsters

Glad i didn't go then.Sorry Arnie, had to work a couple of hours longer than expected and then the motorway and side roads were jammed anyway. So i decided to stay at home. What happened to Michelsen?Only had 3 rides and scored 2 points!

The C & D grade riders weren't really competetive. After a very warm day in denmark the track was heavily watered and this may have disadvantaged some of the less experienced riders.

Saw Michelsen again today - he got 10 from 4 as Midtjyllands won at Vojens in a Div 1 match. Vojens' Jonas B Andersen was the star with a 15 point max - including 3 wins from the back.

I gather that Vojens has managed to find some cash and that the club will compete this season. Perhaps Ole Olsen bet on Nicki P to win in Leszno?

That is good news.I don't have to travel so far for a Superliga meeting, being selfish. But Ole doesn't put any money into VSK.He knows what is good for him.He just runs the GP/SWC stuff. No Superliga

And tonight he was even more impressive with 16 in the Supaliga at Grindsted, including a victory over Kenneth Bjerre

Visitors Holstebro won 42-41 in a last heat decider. Needing a 3-all in ht 14 Andersen and Patrick Norgaard were heading for a 5-1 when third placed Henning Bager fell on the last bend of lap 3. Bjerre (who was last at the time of the stoppage won the rerun, thus depriving Norregard and Andersen of their second victories over Bjerre. [Norgaard beat Bjerre from the back earlier in the meeting]

While Bjerre top scored it was Bager who impressed most for the home team. But Kroner was truly woeful. Andersen and Norgaard got 16 each leaving very little required of the remaining riders, which was just as well as Graversen and Gapinski [apparently an 'A' grade rider] made very modest contributions.

Have to say Jonas Andersen had escaped my notice previously (I see that he rode in a couple of Vikings fixtures on British tracks). Looked very professional - good from the back on Saturday and sharp from the gate tonight. He's 18, and this was his first double figure score in the Supaliga, while Saturday's was his first maximum in Div 1 (and neither on tracks he's ridden regularly)

I would be careful in believing the word of a Polish rider who was using the new silencers for the first time and didn't do very well.In fact his poor performance would be the main reason why home team Vojens lost the meeting. So maybe he is looking for excuses anyway. Was it down to the silencers or the track or just one of those things? The fact is at Fjelsted just 50km or so away they didn't have any problems. The problem could well have been the youngsters being over enthusiastic. The last incident in the last heat Kenni Larsen took out Jepsen Jensen + Mikkel B.Both ended up in hospital. But these things did happen with the old silencers.According to one Danish young gun i was talking to he was rather surprised that Nicki P had said there were problems with the silencers. He told me they are different and you have to ride slightly different. But maybe it is a rider problem rather than the silencers themselves. He even said he thought the new silencers were better from the gate than the old ones

Ah, Comrade Bryn, I've always found Polish sources to be reliable.

I must express surprise that you haven't emigrated there given that it always appears to be perfect from your postings!
