willp
DUDLEY Heathens will warm up for their big season launch night when they go to Stoke in a Challenge match on Saturday (7.30). The former Cradley club face the USA tourists at their adopted Wolverhampton home next Tuesday, April 12, with a bumper crowd expected. But they will also enjoy plenty of support at Loomer Road when they hand a debut to new signings Adam Roynon and Luke Chessell. Boss Will Pottinger said: “It will be a nice workout for the lads and a good way to prepare for the USA match on Tuesday. “We’re desperate to beat the tourists after they turned us over last season so any preparation we can have for that meeting will help. “We will be looking for a good performance at Stoke and I’m sure the lads will enjoy plenty of support.” The meeting will revive memories of 1996 when Cradley used the Loomer Road track as their adopted home following the closure of Dudley Wood Stadium. STOKE: Jason Garrity, Jaimie Pickard, Gareth Isherwood, Tony Atkin, Tim Webster, Ben Reade, James Sarjeant. DUDLEY: Jon Armstrong, Ashley Morris R/R, Richard Franklin, Tom Perry, Adam Roynon, Darryl Ritchings, Luke Chessell. c/o www.dudleyheathens.co

greyhoundp
Predictions lol, personally i cant see the Heathens finishing in the top two, but a play off place has to be the aim for now, Saturday i would be happy to see us keep the result to within 10 points. vog
Really enjoyable meeting! A draw was probably a fair result. Stoke missed Lambert, and Dudley missed Morris! Look forward to the next time we lock horns!
