Bagpuss
Wouldn't have said so before the meeting, or after their first heat for that matter. But they look head and shoulders above anyone else now. Edited April 27, 2011 by Bagpuss
BWitcher
Bagpuss, If you seriously think Bjerre was in anyway interested tonight you are deluded. And, if you are happy with that kind of effort from your No 1 rider, fair enough. Very low standards. Nice to see Nicholls clear off after Freddie and leave Klindt. Has he forgotten it's a pairs event? He was never going to catch Lindgren. Sit back and see your team mate home! Nicholls had an excuse for not team riding every time he was interviewed. And, if you are happy with that kind of effort from your No 1 rider, fair enough. Very low standards. Not deluded at all. The effort and commitment we have seen from him so far this year has been exemplary so I'm not going to start slagging him off after a night of gremlins. I get the feeling you couldn't wait to jump on here and give him what for which is a great shame. I appreciate there is a GP on Saturday but in that case why not cry off with an 'injury' before the meeting? Or just tootle round at ther back? Or for that matter why ride his balls off last Friday against Poole?
Panthers99
Joke of a decision there.... Rory did touch Troy, but Batch did go to quick, tough call. But why wasnt it re-run, Bjerre packed in 3 times, so what if one of the Aces packed up, what a joke

I know, cringed everytime he came out with one. No excuse for that in the last ride though, he knew what we needed. Bjerre I agree, was not interested at all. Embarrassing. adam74
I see Troy hasn't grown up at all. Childish comments about Rory - who rode a stormer in that race.
hatcham
Would Belle Vue not be better off with Rory on 1 and CH on 3?

Arson fire
Got to agree that was the first thing crossed my mind when they said that it was not to be re-run Sky pushed for time due to live boxing afterwards prob..should have been re-run IMO
Panthers99
Joke of a decision or tough call, it can't be both. It can be.... tough call with Troy, as I said... and a joke of a decision not to be re-run....as i said. Certainly would of been good for a final place, but no one would of stopped Poole today, unless Nicki forced someone wide.

Anyway, well done to Poole, a thoroughly deserved win Its not a bandwagon. You are happy for your number 1 to treat his fans with contempt. Each to their own. Last Friday is irrelevant. Tonight he did not want to know, it was clear from the pre-meeting interview. Its not the first time with him, it won't be the last.
adam74
Congratulations to Poole. Went in as favourites and walked out easy winners. Made Bomber look like a second halfer in that final. On a side note, Ward should be in the Grand Prix without doubt.
