ladyluck
That two minute warning buzzer has to constitute a noise nuisance - get the FIM on to it. That was fairly abject from Okoniewski. Zagar messed up the start and still didn't have to make much effort to pass him. Andersen looks just about washed up as a top-liner. iris123
Not sure about new silencers killing the sport. There doesn't seem to be much action in the Gorzow meeting.Zagar's cock up of the start being about the most exciting bit as he tried to get back through Take that back. The camera man knows where the excitement is.......the start girls bum Edited April 3, 2011 by iris123

ladyluck
Harris destroyed Gollob there. Crump looked to have the speed on the world champion in Ht 4 but couldn't get past. Once Harris beat Gollob from the start it was over. Gollob looking slow.
ladyluck
Good heavens, did I just hear the interviewer using the term "buddy"? Must've been watching too many Ermolenko interviews on Sky. Genuinely awful from Andersen so far. Surprised Gorzow didn't replace him with one of their big guns there. They're running out of heats. kenny bee firefly
Zetterstrom mugs Nicholls again. And Nicholls ends the meeting on the winning side and scores more points than zetterstrom from one less start !!
cometsfan2k4
What is the deal with the 2 minute warning alarm? Sounds like a shipping is about to come crashing through the stadium A bit boring this like, but hey, it is better than watching Manchester City v Sunderland on a Sunday afternoon
Pinny
Pedersen looking very slow then.

cometsfan2k4
Say that, I have been very impressed with this Okoniewski. Is he a big star already over in Poland? I never really follow the sport in Poland so a lot of riders pass me by... How old and what is his average?
brandonbee48
Those who left missed Heat 13. Well rode Chris Harris. Great Race. Alan.
Pinny
Not sure how old he is but he rode in the 2001 world u21 final, when Kujawa won it. Iversen should really of done Harris then, and whats up with the world champ?

Iversen should really of done Harris then, and whats up with the world champ? I just found him on Speedwayresults.com, http://speedwayresults.com/rider.php?name=Rafal&surname=Okoniewski&season=2010 , seems like he is a top rider judging by his points. It is funny how if you never watch foreign sports, such talent totally passes you by. This season, my Sundays are going to be taken watching Polish speedway Harris certainly seems to be killing it today! Riding very well, but Gollob does seem to be off the pace a bit. Maybe he decided to race with the new silencer after all haha

Was a bright prospect a few years ago and I think he rode in the World Under-21 final at Peterborough, but injuries slowed him down. Iversen really did a superb job of blocking Gollob there. The only problem being they're on the same team and the Rzeszow riders were racing away to a 5-1. Guess it'll be Gorzow's big guns in both Ht 14 and Ht 15. He looked like going to the top at the start of his career but some bad injuries caused him to miss a couple of seasons and stalled his progress. The last few years he has been hovering around a 7 point average in the Polish League, I think.

Helped guide Kevin Wölberts career for a while,i seem to remember.Riding in the Bundesliga puts you on the slippery slope downwards.Another of the bright stars,Szombierski was supposedly riding here yesterday.Hlib was another who rode in the Bundesliga early on.....you have been warned
