The Know
Yet Walasek finished ahead of Chris Harris in 2009. That's the Chris Harris you are sponsoring in 2011. I have as much chance of winning it as Chris Harris. I would also point out that Walasek was there on merit in 2009 and not becaause your mates at BSI needed a couple of token Brits. he did ok last year though were sponsoring him as he is english and a decent chap and wont run off with 15 grand as the last pole we sponsored did. whats that they say about dont trust a pole you seem to miss the point, polish, british it does not matter, you shouldnt be in it if ya not good enough. dont have any mates at bsi cause if i did i would ave all the poles chucked out and your so polish biased it dogs me off. ladyluck
you seem to miss the point, polish, british it does not matter, you shouldnt be in it if ya not good enough. You miss the point entirely. Fact is, Walasek was there because he deserved to be there. He showed he was superior to Harris over the series. The conclusion has to be that Harris wasn't good enough either. He got another chance because he was British and Walasek didn't because there were already enough Poles in the series. If Harris hadn't been British, he'd never have got a sniff at the GPs. I argued for years that it should be merit. So, you don't care which country, but the best Brit at the time must be in. That's consistency for you. If Harris had finished ahead of Walasek I'd have said he deserved a place ahead of the Pole. But he didn't, so by your own argument Walasek deserved the place more.

jimmy jimmy
pepe, walasek, you should only be in it or want to be in it if you believe you can win it. both of these riders have no chance of ever winning it. all they do is make themsevles look foolish. i have as much chance of winning it as them i want to see the best, not riders past there sell by date. not just polish but any country. dont be dissing the wonderful Poles when the witchfinder general is on the prowl, he can get very upset you know

Not sure i would open the curtains if Walasek was racing in my back garden
Pinny
Ladyluck is right. If a rider goes through the GP Challenge and qualifys, he deserves his place. I personally cant stand watching pepe, walasek, ulamek, kk etc, but if they get through the qualifiers then they deserve their place. If Harris does not make top 8 next year and no brit gets through the gp challenge, then no brit should be in next year. If harris is given yet another wild card, it will be a bigger farce than the sport already is.

I, for one, am glad Harris is in the GP series ahead of Walasek. Not sure i would open the curtains if Walasek was racing in my back garden Hurrah, it's over. Is Harris entering the GP Challenge this season, or is it beneath him? Edited May 14, 2011 by ladyluck
