British Final & Semi-finals

In poor taste! Lee has shown his commitment to the club since his arrival for which I applaud him. He was not everyones choice but has proved his worth and built up some real respect from the supporters and management.

You may think so, but this week's S Star shows it was all about money and quotes him as saying "It's like someone with a normal job having to work almost for free and go miles up to Scunthorpe, rather than go down the road and earn their normal living"

I'll be providing a racecard for this event as it's live on the TV.

It's actually ready now, however, i'll hold back until Monday or Sunday evening before putting it online for download in the event of late rider withdrawals or injuries.

It will be available on the usual page of

MiniMax Racecards

I'll update here when it's available.

Point of order Mr. Speaker Squall sir! The above should read.... "Whoever they gave the wildcards to, people were going to have a moan - it's what makes us ENGLISH!"

Afterall on my winter jaunts 'down under' my Aussie mates all fully accept now that I'm NOT a Whingeing Pom as I'm Welsh!:P

We always refer to you as 'That Welsh Git", Brynbach.

Yes cant wait to see him ride and probably fall of 5 times (not getting injured of course) Well this just adds to the fact what a state British speedway is in. Looking at the standard of this field, its looks more like a premier league line-up. Sad days indeed especially with the world cup coming up, what realistic chance has Britain got??? - none

Any realistic chance of anyone apart from Poland in the World Cup seeing as its in Poland = None.

Again, another opportunity to get Simon Stead in the field and bang, nothing. It's a bit of a joke giving it to Hart who is doing nothing at PL level, let alone a British final. Dear o'dear BSPA.

Oliver Allen in for Ben Wilson whose injured apprantley

Track Reserves tomorrow. Ashley Morris and Tom Perry

Thanks i did mean the track reserves for the meeting. I already know about the two riders withdrawn because of injury.

I might wait until after tonight's matches before releasing the racecard though in case any riders are due to ride tonight and are unfortunate to become a cropper.

Just out of idle interest where did you find out who the track reserves are? impressed :)

Absolute Disgrace regarding Simon. This is a guy who is a heatleader at EL level and a captain of his team. He represented Team GB last year and was one of two riders including Harris to make it to the GP Challenge Final. Injured or not he should have been included in the Final, especially now he back riding and Auty and Wilson have been injured.

The British Final is a joke competition now compared to years gone by. No prime time slot. It should be held on a weekend and include the strongest field possible.

Couldn't agree more. Jerran's last two meetings aren't exactly inspiring. Star of Anglia F,0,Ef,Ex,EF = 0, Under 21 semi @ Zarnovica 0,0,-,-,- = 0

When and how did Ben Wilson get injured?

Dunno other that in their usual expansive ways the BSPA site states that;

"Elsewhere Scunthorpes Ben Wilson has also been ruled out through injury and will be replaced by King's Lynn's Oliver Allen."
