norbold
I still want to know if my answer to Dick Dastardly's question is right! Come back, Jim.... Anyway, where's your question gone? Edited December 22, 2003 by norbold
Grachan
A name would be useful! Giving up?? Bernd Odermatt! Great clue, but I have to confess to not having heard of said gentleman. Surprising, therefore, that Swindon never signed him in 1983!

paulboy
To young for the 70's ones but two of Exeter's Czechs in the 90's were Vaclav Verner and Petr Vandirek. I think! Can also picture the other one but can't think of his name!! Someone put me out of my misery!! I set the question and hadn't thought of Vaclav for the 90's! The three I had in mind were Petr Vandirek, Toni Svab and Bo Hadek. Jiri Stancl is not the answer to either the 70's or 90's. The four from 1979 were Vaclav Verner and brother Jan, Ales Dryml (father of Lukas and Ales) and the late Zdenek Kudrna. Steve Hone, not sure if Jan Holub was late 60's or early 70's - will find out and let you know if you added one to my list!

spin king
Tony Briggs was used to advertised Brut after shave. Are you sure? Didn't his non-riding brother Gary appear in a TV ad? No I am absolutely certain ,cause I remember it was such a big sponsorship for such a novice, think he got it because he was such a good looking chappie. youngy105
OK, talking of Norwich and 1962...which rider made his debut for Norwich in 1960 scoring nil points from 4 matches, but in 1962 went to Belle Vue with the Stars and scored a 15 point maximum in a league match including two victories over Peter Craven on a night when Fundin scored just 4 points? I'll go for Gote Nordin on that one
