21st century heathen
The Heathens will track Roynon, Armstrong, Morris and Franklin. Extract from the Heathens website: ADAM Roynon has rejoined Dudley Heathens after making his comeback from injury. Roynon will make his return for the former Cradley club at Stoke on Saturday in the National League Fours Championship. He'll ride alongside skipper Jon Armstrong, Ashley Morris and Richard Franklin. Tom Perry is unavailable as he is on Grass Track duty in France.
Parsloes 1928 nearly
That's news to me as Tom's riding in France this weekend Well Master Perry was in the Dudley Four given to us by Mr. Morrish for the programme so that's why his name appears there!!! Storming Norman
Looks like great value for money. I intend going but would appreciate reassurance that the medical crew have been told the earlier start?
SpeedwayTShirts
Happy to announce that after liason with DT we have in place a full entertainments package for the 4's on Saturday including external PA System to boost the sound, GP DJ to play the latest tunes and jingles to add to the party atmosphere. Should get the fans bouncing on the terraces !! And....... to finish off a Disco in the Bar, immediately after the meeting with the chance for photo opportunities and autographs with the riders. The forecast looks good so should be a cracker

vog
Looks like yet again electrical issues are causing delays The electrics went off for...at most...2 minutes! Hardly a delay! Riders were sorting their bikes out and sorting the draw for the final! Congrats to Dudley. Not the best meeting (But by no means the worst) and going into the last heat, there could have been a 4 rider run off!
Heathen1984
Wot a night! All 4 dudley riders rode great, great to see roynan back. As to be the best rider in this league

Possibly because he is entirely eligible, and his NL average is only 7.70. Where's the problem?

CrystalCastles
Seems some of the Dudley fans bit to obvious bait. Oh well. Well done Dudley, I'm glad you got some success, for your fans that post on here that I have time for. Anyone moaning about Roynon at this stage of the season is beyond me. Vogs assessment although brief seems fair, have respect n time for his views. He says the meeting wasn't the best but went to the wire, with Dudley taking the win. I'm glad for the likes of C21st heathen & greyhoundp who have something to celebrate. As although (never met them) seem to me to try be objective fans & unbiased but still passionate, but understanding of other clubs fans whilst also being big contributers to the NL section & speedway in general(can remember a good bit of banter taken in the right way on numerous occasions last year and through the winter) Nice for them to celebrate something positive. Halifaxtiger
Most meetings that go down to the wire are usually pretty good and this one was Deserved success for Dudley on a track where this season they were humped out of sight a weeks ago. The surprise packets for me were Belle Vue; who knows what they might have achieved had Howarth been present. Quick mention for the Stoke promotion. I am sure those huge speakers weren't to everyone's taste, but at least there was an attempt to improve the atmosphere and liven up proceedings Best of luck to those involved with Ellesmere Port. As you say good to see Stoke doing something, with a primarily young element to the riders in the NL,and trying to attract a younger(new) genertaion of speedway fans a pumping atmosphereis important! chopper
Anyone think a rider like Roynon has it easy in the National league had better think again. The quality of the league is first rate,a look around last night showed some top machinery, and quiet a few premier league reserves, and some good youngsters and some quality older riders. And Adam was made to work hard for his points. The National league is a very good league at present. Chopper
Baldy
Well done to Dudley last night, I enjoyed it very much. Thought the speakers were great and I'm 50 and on top of them. Of course not everyone is going to like but in the words of The Icicle Works. "some like you baby, some like me" we all like different things. We have to attract younger supporters and looking around the young un's were all singing along, I sang to the ones I knew!!. Impressed with Heeps; who wouldn't be, infact all the Fen riders did well. The question was asked, what if Howarth had riden?. The Aces would of won; taking nothing away from Mason's efforts but Kyle would of won it for them. Heathens lads impressed me and the way Morris went about the last ride was great. Adam Roynan was a pleasure to watch; he can blame me for his fall as I'd just said how smooth he was riding. Paul Stark rode well for his two wins and who said if Adam A doesn't gate he's beaten, lovley pass by the fence. Well done to all who took part, with abit of an extra "well done to the Heatens.
