vog
So just over 19 points for the top 2! That's possibly the definition of top heavy!
rodneyparade
Think the only problem with what you suggest may be the cost of admission, for example,if the Hornets and the Wasps race at home on the same weekend, that`s very nearly 60 quid gone in admission alone, that`s I hasten to add are my circumstances. It won`t stop me from going, but it may put some people off with similar admission costs. DB - You'll have to cut down on the cider then !!!!! torpointfanatic22
so a 6 pointer, perhaps a untried aussie, and theres a few aussies who have patriality and 2x 3 point reserves. Not having a go here mate, but thats the exact problem with speedway in our country! A development team that has 2 Aussies already and now the suggestion of another one! Anyway I thought Newport were only looking to use their assets this year in the NDL. I believe Jaimie Pickard is a Newport asset, given how he ended 2010, he would be a cracking signing on 4.5ish. I know Matt Bates from our Devils side last year is on the look out for a spot and would be a similar average to Pickard. With Herne, Kurtz, WW, Young and possibly those 2 you would have a strong 6 with room for a 3 pointer. Maybe Daryl Ritchings? I reckon the Hornets could look tidy with something like that! Diesel
I suggested Pickard on the Newport forum. His progress impressed me late last season, although Brendan Johnson could be a shout after he rode for us last season. I'd have Ben Reade back on a 3. We aren't going to have any Aussies on 6 points because LFC1892's averages are well out.
CrystalCastles
Pickard or Johnson would be good. Wed have 2 places left, think we will be using 2 new riders, although Reade wld be a gd option. Didn't Morris & Branford come in on 3s because of british passports. So perhaps we could have some more aussies?

A development team that has 2 Aussies already and now the suggestion of another one! Agree with that, especially with the rules for this year. With Herne, Kurtz, WW, Young and possibly those 2 you would have a strong 6 with room for a 3 pointer. Maybe Daryl Ritchings? Daryl is an asset of Swindon, courtesy of Gary Patchett, and has been promised a place in the Dudley reserve berth this year, after his inclusion as Number 8 last season. Diesel
Our Official Unofficial website (i.e. the one by Mike Manning) says we've signed Kurtz, Herne, Young, White-Williams and David Gough, but makes no mention of Richard Andrews. Diesel
Still a discrepancy with the Speedway Star which says we've signed Andrews.
