greyhoundp
It has been announced on the Heathens fans forum, that Adam has signed for the Heathens for 2011, if that is correct and Adam can remain injury free, then he will be a great signing for the Heathens, and it again shows our intent, not to just be in there to make up the numbers, and to try and improve on last season on Track. Killer Cat from Mars
Look forward to seeing him riding against the Hitmen this year. The guy deserves an injury free season.
torpointfanatic22
Ah, I saw Adam talking with Will Pottinger after the NYC and wondered if this was on the cards. Brilliant signing for the Heathens and if injury free Adam will be a class above the majority of the NL, hope the move helps the lad re-discover his confidence and form. Ben91
Very good signing for the Heathens, I'm guessing he'll be on an average of about 7 too as it's been a long time since he has established a NL average. The lad deserves a break and he will be busy this year, hopefully he is safe and successful, still one of Britain's best prospects imo. 21st century heathen
I think he was PL 3.95 RocketBen so depending on the AGM news he'll be NL 7.90. Cheap as chips. At 22 Adam still has time to progress to become a very solid EL rider. It's a big year for him there's no doubt about that.
vog
I suppose, the only question is, do you get second or third option on him! I would presume Redcar meetings take priority, but if it came to King's Lynn and Dudley racing on the same night, who would Adam ride for? rami
According to the Dudley press release Adam comes in on a 7.7 average. If he stays fit i would expect him to put at least 2 points on top of that. Great signing for the club.

The '10 rules says if the NL club pays a loan fee it has first choice, but I need to check exactly how the rules was written (don't have time right now). But in any case we ride on a Tue which doesn't clash with either on a regular basis. he will be alot more than 7.90!!!! As I said it depends what's come out of the AGM I s'pose. Still, I just hope the rest of your team is appalling so we have a chance of beating you

Just to clarify, Adam did finish on a PL average of 3.95 last season but with a 5% reduction that all British riders receive for team building, he'll start the 2011 PL season on a 3.85 average. When doubled for a National League average, this is of course 7.70.
Brummie Kev
I really think this a fantastic signing for the Heathens, Adam is a quality rider at this level. When he rode for the Brummies in 2008 in the Premier League he averaged around 8 before he had his injury as is shown below from the Brummies in 2008 AVERAGES M R P B Ave. GSA Adam Roynon 10 50 94 15 8.72 7.52 He was beating some EL standard boys but the injuries he has have knocked his confidence greatly. If he can get back to that level then he will be the best rider in this league and I hope does. Adam is another of my favourite riders and I hope the kid stays injury free this season. Dudley team building looking very good so far. Edited January 26, 2011 by Brummie Kev
