Copenhagon 2011

With all due respect, that's balls. You're watching it with the benefit of slow motion replays - at actual speed it's less than a second between impact and fall.

A second is a long time in speedway. Contact causes you problems immediately. Contact does not cause you to fling your right leg into the air, and then gracefully slide of the back of the bike. Harris knew what he had done, hence when he was excluded there was no reaction from him as he walked back to the pits.

The bane of speedway is riders taking the cheap option and sliding off at the slightest touch. The best races you often see riders clatter into each other without coming off.

You must be of the opinion Scott Nicholls should have been excluded last Monday then?

Harris's 2 wins will help in countback for sure.

The fact heat 17 has 4 riders he's fighting with for a semi place is good news. One, maybe 2 of them are liekly to ned up on 8 or less. Meaning Bomber has to beat Jensen and Sayfutdinov whos on the grave yard gate 3. That said, the rider behind could sneak past. It's close.

the day out of control lifting is ignored in such incidents... is the day i'll be agreeing with you bwitcher

?? Which happened on the straight. The front wheel was down, hence Pedersen entering the corner on the inside. Tough to do that if he was 'lifting'. Simple fact is, the contact did not cause Harris to fall.

There was on my TV! And what was that reaction when Pedersen was excluded?!

Entertainment or what? Great duel between Chris and Emil. Earlier exclusion horrific for Harris mind.

Technically, of the 7 pointers Chris Harris in the top 8. But for how long! lol

yes it happened down the straight..... and the effects of it then ran into the bend

Nicki P gained some (fake?) lift which increased his speed.... but also gave him little time to gain control .... hence why he went into Bomber

It was not Bombers fault that Nicki gained lift ...and yet Nicki made it his issue

It is Nicki's job to pass cleanly and the ref's to officiate fairly

BIG chance for Jonsson to sneak into the top eight with Pedersen now excluded, will he take advantage?

What a load of biased bollocks from Stekkers

It was, but the referee was spot on in both decisions. As for people saying "anywhere else Nicki would have been excluded" well that theory went out of the window in the rerun.

Good consistent reffing.

So Nicholls should have been excluded in the British Final in your opinion?

Its a contact sport, those who think it isn't need to wake up.

Nicki forced his way through yes, I have NO argument against that. However, I do not believe he knocked Harris off. Harris made that decision himself, to get off the bike. Therefore he was the cause of the stoppage.

Correct decision in Heat 19 too. Lindback dove inside, had the line and Pedersen needed to read it and cutback.

Anyway, there will always be controversial decisions in the sport, its what makes it fun. We'll just agree to disagree!

Jan should not be aloud to commentate.

He is so biassed it is unbelievable.

His biased interpretation of the Pedersen / Lindback incident was incredible. Think he takes the same tablets as Pedersen.

Glad to see the commentators latched on to the chance Jonsson had then. However, why they quoting Bjerre as a danger to the seven pointers and not Holta who is a further point ahead?

Update

They have now :)

Correctamondo. It's not the first time Harris has jumped off the bike for no reason.
