spook
i agree lol....after seeing a further replay I think this was part of the issue .... after showing the correct angle the first time the production director then concentrated on angles from the other side....... and even for one cut starting it after the contact had happened as if Harris fell off for no reason! manchesterpaul
Meeting becoming more entertaining all the time. Only slight downer for me is Emil's performance so far. I do cheer on the fearless racers.

alan_boon
Jeez, I thought we'd seen the back of slick tracks. This isn't speedway.

manchesterpaul
Jeez, I thought we'd seen the back of slick tracks. This isn't speedway. There has been some very good speedway racing in recent heats. Obviously hope the frequency of it continues on the upward path.
brandonbee48
i agree lol....after seeing a further replay A hometown boxing decision, where you have to knock him out to get a draw. Alan.
george.m
Sorry Jan, I know you read the forums sometimes, but almost identical incidents, and both times you back your man Nicki when he was on different ends of each decision. Shame on Pearson for clearly not agreeing with Jan first time out but not having the balls to say it. Great point! Keith H didn't hold back thank goodness. Manchester Paul was talking about the Holder incident, i.e. he agreed Pedersen to be excluded after seeing the replay. As for Harris, correct decision by the referee. Yes, there was contact. Did the contact cause Harris to fall? No it didn't. It barely even unsettled him as you could clearly see. Harris then chose to take the cheap option and lay it down in the hope Pedersen would be excluded. GP racing is a tough sport.

You're watching it with the benefit of slow motion replays - at actual speed it's less than a second between impact and fall.

manchesterpaul
Harris's 2 wins will help in countback for sure. Then again a glance at the line up for heat 18 might make that a moot point. Might depend if Emil has turned the corner or not.
