DukesGreg
Whether it is correct or not it's an opinion from a rider's point of view in that situation, that's all. From some of the posts here it is clear some don't know what they are talking about but that's their view and it's fine. That's why we are here, no need to get upset about peoples views. I take it by that, you're also referring to my opinion?? As it differs from yours? I haven't gone out to state that you don't know what you're talking about, as in my opinion, none of us actually fully know whether Harris crashed on purpose. I have stated all along that I don't see it like that, but have not for one second stated that anybody on this thread with a different opinion 'clearly does not know what they are talking about.' I hope you're not stating that I don't know what I'm talking about because our opinions differ??? After all, you may be talking rubbish, I may be talking rubbish. It's all opinion. Greg. george.m
A superb thread with reasoned arguments on both sides. I find it ironic that if things had been the other way around, i.e. Pedersen had come off after Harris had hit him, there would have been a lot less discussion as it's what some have come to expect of NP. Disagree George, a fan or the ref should hopefully judge a race on the helmet colour/rider not the personality.....but we are all human! If it didnt Sky wouldnt have been using that trailer of him at the start of the season involving his bad boy antics, crashes, tantrums, titles and more crashes.............. the GP's would be a poorer place without him but I do feel like i'm watching Wrestlemania sometimes .....and I expect the refs to see past it

The Know
You're hardly likely to call it any other way though when Harris is involved. whys that then ? just as we sponsor him makes no differance. np was in the wrong as he nearly always is. if i thought is was harris fault i would of said so. you ever ridden a bike of anytype ? doudt it harris should of stayed in, i have more to loose as he gets a bonus if on the rostrum so maybe i should of been cheering when he went out. saved a bit of cash

So yes. I wasn't having a go, as his sponsor you could be forgiven for being biased towards him. Anyone would be.
jimmy jimmy
My view was that Nikki tried a particularly brave passing manoeuvre going over gate 1 down the home straight, clattered into Harris who was still ahead going into the corner. Nicki should have been excluded in my opinion, and I don't buy the story that Harris threw himself under Jason Crump's bike to get a re-run. Still, sport is all about opinions!!!
