Another unconfirmed story, FFS why not just wait until there is an official announcement, all this thread will do is antagonise the usual suspects, it doesn't take much!!

You know that for definite, do you?

some people just don't get that certain members of The BSPA we're out of line at the AGM & the walk out was for legitimate reasons hence the legal route being taken.

it's time someone burst the BSPA's little bubble & if Sandhu is that man good luck to him.

Again, we don't know that that's the case. It may be that a genuine compromise has been reached - perhaps a low points limit but with the vindictive decisions removed?

A compromise is a very difficult and uncomfortable position for all involved. I remember philfromcov´s post, several weeks ago now, it means that we limp on to the next big fall out.

Compromise could be seen as weakness from the BSPA, and another promoter may attempt the same in future. Compromise would also have to feature some drastic review of decision making before the next AGM to prevent this from ever happening again. Hopefully, Jon Cook´s idea of an independent body may be added into the mix.

How can you say that without knowing what the compromise would be?

For example, the compromise could be as simple as Coventry running this year under the agreed rules on the basis that there is a complete overhaul of the management structure of GB speedway before 2011.

Any form of compromise will show a weakness to the BSPA. Even Shovlar sees that.

What is a "complete overhaul" of a management structure anyway? Replace old with new on the MC. Surely it is the rules and t´s and c´s that need updating?

Or it could be because a compromise has been reached.

Glad to see the BSPA backing down to the might of Sandu :approve: A great day for justice .

The only way Coventry will be back is on the agreed 40 points limit that ALL teams are currently building too.

Sandhu has played the legal card and it appears to have failed.

Guess the bully doesnt get his way. Happy days.

The good news of course is that the Bees should be back in the EL. Thats the best part of the news.

Of course i dont! But many are sure to point out that the BSPA are backing down!!

We will ALL have to wait till official press release.

Otherwise its all a point of view really.

I personally cant see the BSPA altering ANY rules or plans now to suit one team. It just aint gonna happen i believe.

When Cov come back (as they surely will) it can surely only be under the 2011 BSPA rules. KL and Birmingham joined the league under those rules (and indeed KL have almost finalised their team based on that) and wouldn't they have a right to take action if the rules were changed to suit Coventry? (not that they would).

It's hard to imagine that there won't be some sort of review of the workings of the BSPA during the coming year and hopefully that will be compromise enough for Coventry to commit to 2011.

Never mind all the Coventry haters, speedway without the 'Bees' would be a joke and everyone knows it, that's why they'll back down! *CHAMPIONS*

Own stadium, own riders, best fans ur jealous!

Perhaps this is why every other fan despises Coventry. Their fans are just like their owners.

How pitiful.

According to my father who used to be chairman of the Bspa , Is 100% confident that coventry will ride in the elite next year!! info even he will not say lol...

Sorry are you saying your father would agree or disagree that the Bees will be back in, I find the wording of your post somewhat confusing.

Good grief!! That sounds like a factual statement from someone who doesn't do that sort of thing on here.
