Great turnout, for a great cause, and superb to see Adrian looking fit and well.

But, ended up leaving early - like a lot of folk - a freezing night, "racing" started 20 minutes later than billed, and it dragged on and on and on and on with umpteen breaks including some bizarre waste of time with Paul Cooper doing some laps in a hoodie... it was all just too slow.

Good to see lots of away fans - including the gentleman Shadders - coming along to support Adrian, and wish Adrian all the best for the future.

Was good to see the Mighty Makovsky back on track again.

:)

Glad to see a good turn out for Adrian. As said before meeting did drag on near the end. Was glad to see both Joe & Josh scoring well, not much passing but wasn't expecting much more tbh.

How predictable was that moment with 'Adrians granny' and Paul cooper :D

Looks like the two Glasgow boys are on fire... dunno what happened with Screenies last place in heat 10, but 9 for Josh and 8 for Joe is certainly a big possitive. :approve:

*Edit* Turns out Joe had a spark plug problem, he soon got going after the 1st bend. When Screeny was going, he was certainly very fast and very impressive. Same goes for Josh too. Even in the races where they finished 2nd. They were keeping up with the leaders and pressuring throughout.

Screen forgot to turn his fuel taps on  he soon got going after the 1st bend. A rookie mistake! When Screeny was going, he was certainly very fast and very impressive. Same goes for Josh too. Even in the races where they finished 2nd. They were keeping up with the leaders and pressuring throughout.

Cheers VH... looking forward to the P&P today

Yes the meeting did drag on at times,I agree, but these meetings often do especially when "other" things go on inbetween the races. To be honest in gragged on no more so than any other saturday night.

As you say it was great to see a massive turn out for Adrian, with plenty of fans from other tracks. The actual racing wasnt up to much with many races being won from the great, but anyway last night was all about Adrian Rymel,so to that end it was a successful night.

Agree that it was great to see a big turnout for Adrian, certainly the most people I,ve seen at a Berwick meeting. As for the evening, the two highlights for me were the Fish & Chips from Robert Smiths and an Andersons Scotch Pie!!! Nuff said.

Yes this Glasgow fan and his family enjoyed the meeting- Joe and Josh looked very good.

Great turnout from many teams' supporters and well done to the Testimonial committee

Foulis chippy on the street below Smiths chippy is also a hidden gem for the chip brigade like me

Best wishes to Adrian for the future

Foulis chippy is different class to Robert Smiths...had one last week and it's narf gone downhill from yesteryear IMO.

Robert Smith's chippy is vastly over-rated .

Typical testimonial stuff last night , but enjoyable nevertheless . Kevin Doolan in a racebib and thong in the Black and Gold afterwards wasn't as enjoyable

As many have said , it was good to see such a good turnout on a freezing cold night .

Must admit I'm quite jealous of you this year the new track looks fantastic and should serve up some brilliant entertainment.

Not read all of this thread so may have missed it, but how is Rymel now?

Adrian is getting there, is right leg is still dropping and still cannot grip with his right hand properly. I am sure he thinks it should be quicker, but being realistic it has only been 7 months

since the accident. The thing I am sure about is, he will achieve what he wants to achieve.

Thanks, I only just saw this.

Glad to hear he's on the mend. He will be frustrated no doubt but as you say the most important thing is that he gets there.

Could have been a whole lot worse.
