IW08
When I say 'pecking order', I mean, does anyone know how 'priority' works. For example: Poland Sweden GB Denmark etc etc, if that is how it works? and in event of re-arrangments?
SCB
Depends on the rider, the meeting and money. The Poles will always put Poland first. The Swedes would probably always put Sweden first. Brits put Polish play offs first in some cases. I don't think theres any hard and fast rules, amazingly - yet unsurpisingly. Humphrey Appleby
When I say 'pecking order', I mean, does anyone know how 'priority' works. There's no official priority, beyond the fact that World Championships take priority over national league/competitions. I believe riders on a particular national licence have to prioritise the national competitions of that country, but after that it depends on whether a fixture is on its originally scheduled date, or is on a date agreed between national federations, and so on and so forth... Of course, when it comes to the crunch, generally riders will prioritise Polish and then Swedish fixtures if they can, presumably because they're more lucrative.
