What Riders Are Going To Get A Team Berth?

Recommended Posts

Now that Coventry and Peterborough are not likely to be competing in the 2011 EL, thoughts have to turn to the riders. They have found themselves out of work and 14 into 7 won't go. So which of the riders will manage to find a tem berth elsewhere in 2011, or will there be no space at the inn?

Harris. With Hans being touted at the Birmingham number one, no room there. So his only choice is likely to be Kings Lynn. They would want him on their track and would make a god number one for them.

KK. Likely to be one of Sandhu's victims. He wants to ride here but if the one rile over 8 stands he is likely to miss out, which is a shame.

Kennett. Could fit him in at Poole. Lives in the area and is mates with Holder and Ward. Good chance of a ride.

Bridger. Eastbourne would welcome him back with open arms.

Pawlicki. Unlikely to get a ride over here in 2011.

Barker. Might be able to slot him in at Brum or KL?

Sweetman. Brum

Of course if Peterborough follow suit another 7 riders will be chasing places.

Bjerre could find himself out of the EL

Batchelor to Kings Lynn?

Iversen?

Schlein?

Buczkowski miss out

Kosciuch miss out

There's likely to be at least 3 riders missing out who would warrant a team berth. Plus Oakes and Rosco looking for work. And all over 15% and bloody mindedness. How sad is that?

You never miss a trick do you?Talk about putting the knife in and giving it a twist, and don't give us the BS about how sorry you are, because we know you are not.

This move by the bees & panthers is all about trying to break open the cartel which is crippling this sport, if it fails british speedway will be minus two more teams because I don't believe that on this occasion there will be any u turns by the clubs.

A sad pathetic attempt at a wind-up

Absolutely nothing to do with a windup. Just showing how the stubborness of a couple of individuals has a much wider impact. No one wants either Coventry or Peterborough to go to the wall but only two men are capable of changing this and they have gone off on a huff. Not only will the riders and other staff find themselves unemployed, but the fans will have no team to support.

Is Frost and Sandhu's stand worth it? Of course it isn't.

Don't forget Belle vue Steve, if Hans and PK don't return they need a couple of decent riders.

Coventry have just issued a statement saying that they won't issue any further news but that they do want to ride EL. But if you were a rider, would you hang around only to find out in a months time Coventry have officially pulled out and there's no team berth anywhere?

I would bet the phones of 8 other EL promoters are ringing their heads off.

To what end? Has the points limit been agreed then? You are already on record as saying two promotions jumped the gun ahead of conference etc.

Deny all you like but all these posts by you are part of a wind up. Have you ever considered taking a holiday where there is no internet connection?

No, it says they want to ride "top flight" speedway, it doesn't sepcify the EL, it may be that they might (one or both) fancy a stint in the PL

Top flight speedway in the UK is the EL. Thought you would have known that?

Its about standing up to what you believe is right, i hope Cov and Pboro both ride, but not on Fords band of merry mens terms...

Ford is killing speedway and when ur head finally pops out of his arse you might just see this, i know neither of you but i honestly despise you both with a passion, there is no place in any sport for playground bullies

Steve you have already been publically told off by Phil the Admin on another thread. I suggest you remove this thread as you are fully aware that how potentially volatile this is.
