You gone over to Stoke Neil no Luke Priest for Stoke how about Buxton fitting him in

Just passing on info that may be of interest. Yes Derek, I was listening to the radio on Tuesday night when DT popped up with John Acres.

Doubt that Luke would be at Buxton, he hasn't riden the track that well over the years.

12 pounds to watch turpins tripe! unbelievable

Quite right. Unbelievable, I expected it would be £15-£16 pounds. That will be great value this year. Some good young riders to watch this year and for £12 pounds. What other sport in the area can you get that for, Stoke, Vale and Crewe football are all way over that price. I suspect that you will not be going this year, unfortuately I also suspect that you will miss out on some excellent entertainment. They way meetings have been run for a while have left a lot to be desired but not to go is not an option and at £12, I would rate as good value.

For me and the two Chublets it will be £8 cheaper than last year - so I'm not going to grumble !

The Stoke Potters Press Day takes place on 23rd March from midday and of course we welcome supporters and friends of the Club to join us for this event.

This will include a competition between riders who would like to claim the final Potters' racejacket for 2011, This would allow a rider with an average of less than 3.14 which effectively means a 3.00 as there are no riders on the current list between 3.00 and 3.14.

Already I have agreed with three riders to come and paricipate and I would be interested to hear from one or two more who would like to take part. This is not an open event in the sense that partcipation has to be arranged in advance with myself or the Stoke Promoter Dave Tatum.

Anyone interested is invited to contact me to discuss this matter on 07768 073 284. The event is planned for 3.30 pm on the day. The deadline for applying is Sunday 19th March so that we can devise a format for the elimination series which will take place under normal race conditions.

I will leave it to the official site to give you the new number seven but from what I saw he will do well this year. I know practice can be very missleading as the lads are not racing against anyone but a few caught my eye today. Simon Lambert and Tony I've seen loads of times and they showed how I would expect but all the others did very well. As a num 7 James looks lightening and Tim and Jamie really surprised me with the way they handled the bikes. Gareth looked a little slow out of the gate earl on but improve as the time went on. Bring on the season.

Good as a Newport fan to hear positive comments about Tim & Jamie. And positive comments about James & Gareth.

:approve:

Can't wait for our match against the potters.

So, Ben Reade is the final rider. Any thoughts on him?
