Do you know if they ran any full scale meetings for the juniors during that year?

It looks as though so much more riding opportunitys were available in that period!

Was informed today that at least 2 full matches involving the fen tigers juniors took place during the season, is that correct?

It`s fantastic the amount of information the forum members supply and it is all appreciated.

I think most teams had junior matches now and again, during the second halves. I know Wimbledon did.

 

I have now checked the speedway stars match reports from 1980, but I couldn't find any mention of full junior meetings meetings from this year.

They certainly had a full 13 heat match Mildenhall v Leicester coz i rode in it......... I remember Richard Knight and Phil Vance and David Blackbird? I will try and find the programme...a single sheet of paper!..What would the Leicester team managers name been who invited me? Martin ???????
