Pawlicki And His Average Manipulation

Recommended Posts

No. It would be hilarious though to steal him from under Coventry's noses when they are the ones who have manipulated his average. :P

He is not a Coventry asset and clearly prefers the Poole tack to Brandon. Matt should get on the phone to him. :D

It would be funnier if Fat Maud made the call and he then went to Ipswich or Eastbourne - the teams that perhaps need a bit of extra help with their team building....

I think you should get on the phone to the Samaritans, tbh.

I had to tell you a dozen times last season, I've told you once this season already but Josh will be a 3 in the EL as he has raced over 12 meetings and averaged marginally over 3, with a reduction he is back down to 3.

WRONG SCB

The highest average counts .... Thetrefore Haines and Auty have higher EL averages next year due to their PL Averages.

If you really think Auty will be a 3.00 rider next season, then answer this one .... Had he averaged 8.58 in the Premier League then what average would he be given if he decided to ride for Coventry ?

3.00 or 4.29

Funny thing is, because Pawlicki has yet to ride 12 meetings, he is not a Coventry asset. And with all this "he is definately a 4 pointer for 2011", wouldn't it be really funny if Matt called him up and he signed for Pirates as a reseve for 2011.

Now that really would be funny. And completely possible. :D Go get him Matt. :approve:

Pawlicki is a Bees asset as he has ridden more than 12 matches for Coventry .... just that only 11 were league !!

All of this has really just highlighted pooles hypocrosy, how many times have they manipulated the rules? The play off final could have been ridden on any track and the result would have been the same, as it was the 2nd leg was ridden at POOLE and coventry mullered them. Gracious in defeat is obviously something ford dosent do.

Auty will be 3. Haines will be half his PL average because Wolves messed up and didnt give him a 12th meeting.

I just can't see what rule you're refering to. However, for the record, he's what I am seeing (bear in mind 2009 becomes 2010, 2008 becomes 2009 etc etc)

17.1.3 A Rider may have a:

 2009 EL or PL CMA only.

2009 EL and PL CMA (as a consequence of Doubling-Up or transferring Clubs / Leagues) during the 2009 season

 2009 EL CMA and 2008 PL CMA (as a consequence of transferring Clubs / Leagues before the 2009 season).

 2009 PL CMA and 2008 EL CMA (as a consequence of transferring Clubs / Leagues before the 2009 season).

 An Assessed CMA (see SR 17.3 below).

Nothing at all about the higher of two figures.

You argued all last year that double uppers would double up in 2010 on their 2009 PL average converted, I told you that you were wrong. I'm now telling you that you're wrong on this one.

Its the league that counts towards his average, or do you have different rules.

What a dreadfully sad article by Mr Ford in last night's Poole programme. The team that was caught red-handed last season defeated by a team that did nothing wrong and peaked at precisely the moment that it needed to. More than enough has already been said on this thread, but he would do well to remember exactly how he put his almost all-conquering team together in the first place.

His estimation in the sport has fallen still further this week; if that was possible.

Not referring to his average, just the assertion that he is not a Bees asset because he has not completed 12 matches. He has, but not all in the league, ie. playoffs for a start, or have you forgotten those!!. :D

Why would he sign for the chokers when he can continue to ride for the Man Utd of speedway :approve::D

Happy Days :D

here's a proposal for The Bees team in 2011

K Kasprzak 8.55

C Harris 8.27

E Kennett 6.63

L Bridger 5. 10

K Larsen 4. 84

P Pawlicki 4.00icon_smile_approve.gif

Remainder 5.21.Lovely jubbly icon_lol.gif

Would substitute Jepsen Jensen for Larsen who has the advantage of 4pt average despite tearing up the Swedish+Polish leagues, thus hopefully annoying Matt Ford still further. Weve had Brandon track, team 5pts over limit, wrong riding order, the referee and for all i know coalition cuts being blamed for Poole loss.Didn,t Poole bring Lindback in at tail end of 03 incl.Knock Out cup final and then used him as grade 1 rider in 04.

Don't forget we also stole Jordan Frampton last season :D

The sheer envy and spite that started this thread, the attempt to tarnish a fantastic spectacle of racing, sums up all that is wrong with this sport. Self interest from the south coast obviously rules. I for one look forward to seeing the mire that the club gets into next season. Fair weather supporters leaving in droves. Back to callig up old has beens to fill the gaps in the team.

Poole were beaten fair and square. If Middlo the magician had any real magic in him he would have transformed the terrible team he had cobbled together last season into play off challengers like Rosco did this season. This season he assembled a side that obviously had strength in depth to start off with but lacked the one thing that wins pressure matches - bottle!!!!!

Pathetic losers!

In fact Coventry`s win will be remembered for all the good reasons. The day the all singing all dancing super powers of Poole choked.

........not to mention the power of Matts chequebook. The plain fact is Matt thought he could buy success but the half-hearted Aussies and the useless Pole had already given up by the second leg.
