Oh, joy.

So, the meeting is made later, and moved so I probably can't go, since it's the day after my birthday and have other things planned that weeekend. I rarely go to Lynn fixtures and whenever I actually make plans to go, they always seem to be changed, particularly as I invite other friends to bring to speedway. It's hard to ask new speedway fans/first timers to keep changing their plans to go see meetings.

Don't suppose they will announce the line up until it's too late to get a reasonable priced train ticket? Mind you 3 trips to Lynn already this year, enough for anyone, they will have to pull some very unlikely names out of the hat to get me along(C'mon Buster get Tommy Stange back over!!).

Probably be just the usual Aussies. :D

Silly thing is, the ELRC and Leigh Adams Farewell have both been on the 16th and 17th October for months, I thought? Why even arrange it for that weekend in the first place? I know stockcars and other events probably make it difficult for the club to slip things into place on certain dates... We won't go unless the line up is good LOL ;) Bad timing putting it on a Saturday when Norwich City are playing (and they're doing well ATM!) so some Stars supporters may well choose to go to the City game instead, like CTF has just said.

Indeed, always the problem when dates keep changing. We have paid for our NCFC season tickets already, so we aren't going to shell out for speedway too. Such a shame as I think messing the fans around like this won't do them any favours.

Was really looking forward to this meeting, as I would think, many others too

Great

we won't be going to this now as Norwich are playing at home the same day, so they will be an extra 2 people down.

I understand why they have changed it, but it's blooming annoying as I was looking forward to it.

Great for me i can now go :D

You can back from Norwich in plenty of time to see the speedway can't you?

Whats going on any way, have you converted your hubby to being a Norwich fan i can always remember him being an avid Liverpool fan.I can fully understand him turning his back on Liverpool anyway

I too will not be attending this one as have other plans in place that night, so that make the Newcastle meeting my last one and I for one will be pleased that this dreadful season comes to a close. Roll on 2011

Not going to the NL KOC final on the 27th?...

It's under a week to go... has the full line-up actually been released yet?

Not as far as I know, Lorna, no. I'm not expecting a line up until Wednesday. It maybe mentioned in the programme or something?

Considering people tend to plan ahead, its better to announce line-ups in advance to give people a chance to decide if it's worth making the trip for. I'm going to try and go Wednesday so will see what prog says.

Bit stupid that the line-up hasn't been released yet.

Like others have mentioned, I'm at the City v M'boro game on Saturday but will rush back to take in the meeting IF the line-up makes it worthwhile. Not going to rush back and incur the wrath of the Mrs unless it's worth it

Bit hard to make that call though when nobody knows who the hell is riding. Kind of sums up our season really
