Ghostwalker
another quite sad news is that Billy Forsberg have decided to give up is career. He took a year off from speedway this season due to injuries and because Gdansk owed him money (they still do). Billy says that all his stuff is for sale and that he will continue with his "civilian career", BIlly still have some time left as plumber apprentice before he can become a certified plumber. http://www.nt.se/sport/artikel.aspx?ArticleID=6396627
Ghostwalker
Chris Harris have signed with Västervik which means that 2011 will be his 6th consecutive season with them.
Anders
Guest riders for Elit Vetlanda will be Peter Karlsson, Robin Törnqvist and Christian Agö, according to Elit Vetlanda's website. That leaves Elit Vetlanda with 1 squad place to fill for the 2011 season.

However SVEMO should have done it from the beginning and not when there is just 3 weeks until teams are to be registered. How is Hammarby supposed to be able to find riders now? Currently even without Hammarby there are three teams that are far from finished, Lejonen, Valsarna and Västervik ad a 4th team to that and well there really aren't that many rider good riders left to sign. and The pricetag on them just went up. I think its very unfair for Hammarby to be told that they now must find riders for Elitserien when many teams already have filled their squad. Zetters
It´s a lot of good riders left.......Nicki, Zagar, Bjerre for an example. Hammarby will be difficult for any team to beat at Gubbangen with Me as a speaker/announcer:) i think its right that Hammarby as winners of the Allsvenskan play off are offered a place in Elitserien. f-s-p
latest news is that svemo will meet on Monday to clear out all rumours regarding Hammarby. Havent seeen a news in Swedish about this, but just taking as you've written they'll declare Hammarby as an Elitserien team for next season. If thats not the case, they would have told all to bugger of now, it'll be eight teams. No need for extra meetings...

WembleyLion
Just out of interest, when are Swedish fixtures out? I recall that the elite league fixtures were out in early December last year so possibly not that long to wait.
