Is a winner of final heat a champion or points scored in all heats (5 rides + semi + final) count? i think it will be 20 heats plus a final and the champion is the winner of the final. krompa
i think it will be 20 heats plus a final and the champion is the winner of the final. I see that last year it was 20 heats (top 3 to the final) + last chance race (riders placed 4-7) with winner joining top 3 in a Grand Final race. brandonbee48
There is someone in Britain who might stream it if asked. I finally did get a message through detailing the live and delayed broadcast. Posted on his message board "This afternoon's streams are cancelled. Not enough watching. Sorry" So it seems we are probably out of luck, unless there is a late Swedish streamer to the rescue. I did try! Regards. Alan.

Anders
The fat lady sung and closed down the season in Vetlanda on Sunday with the individual meeting of Vetlanda Open. FNC-Gnistorna's Mathias Thörnblom looked like a winner for most of the day, but dropped two points in his final heat, which instead saw team-mate Robert Pettersson being victorious. Västervik's first year rider (on 500cc), Oskar Karlsson, was the surprise packages to grab third place ahead of five Swedish U21 finalists, among them home rider Henric Lindqvist. Freddie Broms, silver medalist in the individual youth championship on September 17th and gold medalist in the youth pairs championship on September 24th (the day before Vetlanda Open), rode in his first 500cc meeting, to score 3 points. Anders
well i assume that we no longer can refer to speedway as the sport with no brakes no fear? Gotta be "one brake, still no fear" I guess. With the risk of going a bit off topic, there are some other interesting names in the speedway community, at least from a Swedish point of view. Czech rider Pavol Pucko and Polish youth rider Oskar Polis are two of them. I would love to do a live update coverage from a meeting with those two, and hopefully being able to write "Polis slog Pucko" (=Police beats Dumbass). It isn't very often that they get invited to ride in Sweden. Wallner can be quite spectacular, if he's in the mood.
