Hi,

how many rides will Swedish U21 rider take in every Elitserien meeting? Can be replaced by second reserve or have to take all 4 programmed rides?

Have the race card been changed or only heat 16 removed?

Thanks in advance.

AS said in first post. In 2011 its mandatory with two Swedish riders in the 7 rider lineup for Elitserien of which one have to be a Swedish U21 rider and that rider.

In Allsvenskan there have to be minimum 3 Swedish licensed riders in Allsvenskan lineups one of them has to be a Swedish U21 rider.

The u21 riders can only be replaced once per meeting which means that they have minimum three rides/meeting.

Part Role For Bjerre

Monday, 31 January 2011 12:47

Danish Grand Prix rider Kenneth Bjerre is not planning on racing a full season for Lejonen in the Swedish Elitserien this season.

Bjerre's commitments in the Grand Prix Series along with riding in Britain with King's Lynn, Poland with Wroclaw and Denmark with Grindsted will keep the Dane busy enough not to need a full season in Sweden.

Speaking to SpeedwayGP he said: “I’ll just do the meetings I want to do. I don’t really need Sweden, but if I’ve got a gap in the fixtures, I’ll do it. I don’t want more meetings really. I’ll only do the ones I want to do and that’s how it will be. I don’t see it as a problem.”

Sounds a bit arrogant and I personally dont know of a reason that justifies this attitude from him.

It seems Daniel King is going to ride for Ikaros Smederna but Birmingham fixtures will be prority. With us being Thursday track, it may mean only a few outings for Danny in Sweden.
