Storming Norman
Steve, it's all gone a bit quiet! You boys recovering from jet lag? Great news that you'll be at Weymouth. I'm guessing none of the boys have ridden there before? Congratulations to Bryce Starks for winning a race at what must have seemed a massive Sheffield track. I reckon the boys will win a few more at Plymouth tonight. Edited October 8, 2010 by Storming Norman
blackwidow
Should be a cracker at Weymouth this Saturday
Sandie
Steve is having internet problems and says there's only so many Big Macs a boy can eat!!! I cant really comment on the racing last night as I didn't get to see much, to busy selling to those wonderful Sheffield fans who wanted to buy lots to support the boys. We started the day with a trip to Buxton for some practice and then over to a slightly bigger track at Sheffield! An emotional start to the evening as this was a meeting to celebrate the life of Kelly Moran and with family and friends there Kelly's ashes were scattered along the start line. Not a big points haul last night but the boys seemed to sort the track out quite well but Robbie (I think it was) suffered bike problems and hopefully will get it all sorted by today. So Plymouth here we come, where I hope the boys will enjoy a lot more. Tyson and Eddie (and probably Shawn McConnell) have ridden here before so hopefully will perform well. I hope that Eddie's fan club are there again tonight! And then on to Weymouth the following day. Make sure the sun shines down south please and see you all there. keyham
The sun is shining and the skies are blue from West to East. All the Plymouth fans are looking forward to another great night of close racing that the teams seem to produce. Safe journey down to all, and see you all at the track tonight. So is there no chance at all then of the suggested meeting at Lydd - see following link http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=56826 With the 17th. now free I wondered if this was in any way back on as a possibility..? SteveEvans
Have Malcolm call me! 07751 708203! I dont have his number. Anything is possible! Last night was amazing- the travellers never expected more than small points hauls at a place like Sheffield, but Castro, Burmeister and Starks (in his first UK ride) were on the PL pace. We got a great welcome and Ryan Fisher led the unofficial team USA brilliantly!
crazysue
Is there anyone going to the Plymouth meeting who would be able to text updates to the updates site? If so, could you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm. Thanks
Parsloes 1928 nearly
Less than a week now to the meeting at Arena Essex (Lakeside). Young Hammers will apparently include Lubos Tomicek, Shane Hazelden, Ben Morley and two riders I have to say I've not heard of previously, both French lads: Xavier Muratet & David Bellego. A shame Marc misses out through injury and ditto Jerran... What's the expected USA line-up..? This meeting is followed by the London Riders Champs - see http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=58072&pid=1807008&st=0entry1807008 for that thread.
