Nutz
But with janusz kolodiej been picked it means there are fours polish riders in next year Tomasz Gollob Jarek Hampel Runa holta and janusz. Rune Holta is about as Polish as my left Scottish toe-nail...
colincooke
Oh my days.... the rider has been beyond shocking all season even at the begining of the season, his form was very shoddy to the say the least. If the riders injured.... then stop riding, simple enough as realistically he has cost, Belle Vue, Dackarna and Torun major honours this season, due to his poor peformances, regardless whether he is injured or not. Some may call him brave for riding, well look at the low scores he has scored for the teams, when they could of got a guest in, or even r/r which more likely would of scored more. I fully respect Hans as a rider, but this season, he has been well and truly stupid. Hans deserves the respect that is given him here for even thinking about getting on a bike with his injury not gripes. The rider himself will come back stronger in 2011, whoever he rides for. This is the first post in the nomination-thread saying this. In the WC-threads it's an ongoing fight, but when it comes to nominations, he's always Polish I don't care... You ride for Poland, Holta, and we'll cheer you on regardless. Greatest speedway rider ever to come out of Norway. mothorsen
Hi my name is tom anderson am im putting this topic on the forum about the wild cards for 2011. I am a huge fan of hans andersen namesake. But he has been left out of the picture for next year and i dont really feel its fair he rode with broken fingers this year and sould of pulled out of two grands but didnt. We all knew the speedway commision woulndnt leave out nicki pedersen or emil sayfutindov but andreas jonsson only finished on a high at the last minute. But with janusz kolodiej been picked it means there are fours polish riders in next year Tomasz Gollob Jarek Hampel Runa holta and janusz. Also there are three swedes andreas jonsson antonio lindback and freddie lingren i understand lindgren an lindback qualifed in there own right but i cant help but feel its unfair. Please let me know your thoughts on this Tom Anderson Allright. Joonas Kylmäkorpi is longtrack world champion, and Finland has no one in SGP. Norway, Germany, Romania, Lituania, Holland, Ukraine and Italy, to name a few, are left out. USA and Great Britain has only got one each. Russia, Australia and Denmark two, Sweden three and Poland four. Andreas Johnson didn't only win the last round, he also finished higher than Hans Andersen, aswell as finishing higher in both Sweden and Poland, while Kolodziej has proved himself in both GP rounds he has been in this year, aswell as riding league speedway like a hellhound. No, it's not unfair to have "only" two Danes in the mix, and if Andersen still has it in him, he'll sit one out, and come back the next year. To nominate based on nationality is just plain wrong. mothorsen
...so far it will be interesting to see what it will become of Daniel Gunnestad. Yes indeed, especially if he is now taking it up a notch, riding in Allsvenskan.
TrueBee
Whats happened to this BSI agreement with Sky After this year Sky probably cancelled that agreement and are happy with Bomber alone. At the end of the day there isn't a second brit good enough for the GP, the exception maybe Rico.

ladyluck
Well, I would say that he is fault, because you can only get grit thrown up by a competitor's rear wheel is if you're getting beaten. All the best Rob Very well, but it doesn't affect the argument, since the Hans Andersen injury people are talking about happened when he got caught up in a Nicki Pedersen fall at, I think, Malilla. According to your argument, the injury was self-inflicted, since Andersen was behind Nicki Pedersen at the time. Erm, I think Hans has won 4 Grand Prix in the past Czech Rep. GP: 2006 Danish GP: 2006 Italian GP: 2008 Scandinavian GP: 2004 What that tells me is that Andersen's best year in the GPs was the season in which he was over-looked for a nomination. ladyluck
What kindergarten do you attend ? Your arguements get worse and worse. Obviously a one that teaches English better than the one you attend. My arguments are sound, but you prefer inane waffle to cover the fact that you've been as soundly thrashed in the argument as Andersen was in the GPs. Andersen had the weakest case out of all the contenders. He failed last season; he failed this season, indeed, his performances in the GPs have been on a downward trend ever since he entered the "mind-set" of having a guaranteed place on the back of his performances in the season he was left out. Many people had him down as a serious challenger for the title last season, but he ended up outside the top eight. As it happens, I think Jonsson had a poor case for a nomination, but that win at Bydgoszcz saved his GP skin and no doubt set him up for another season of drifting aimlessly in 2011. It'll bee interesting to see after the winter break, but for now I'd say maybe Bjerre, Harris or Holder out and Sayfudinof and Kolodziej in? And Gollob for world champ? Harris, Holder and Bjerre look the most likely to drop out of the top eight, although I do think that things will be very tight next season. Kolodziej, Nicki Pedersen and Emil Sayfutdinov look the best set to get into the top eight, although it will be interesting to see how Sayfutdinov comes back from his injuries and if he can avoid further injuries. Big seasons are required from the Swedish duo of Lindgren and Jonsson. As for the world champion, I think it'll be between Gollob and Crump. JT
Great GP line up, finally after years of crap choices BSI get it right! Providing all riders stay injury free, this has to be the best GP line up ever. (We have to remember 2010 saw a lot of the world's best riders either retire - Leigh Adams - or have their seasons savaged by injuries - Sayfutdinov, Pedersen and Andersen, this year will be a lot tougher to qualify in the top 8, especially with Zetterstrom and Woffinden replaced by far better riders) I'll predict the riders will finish as follows: 15th - Artem Laguta 14th - Chris Harris 13th - Antonio Lindback 12th - Kenneth Bjerre 11th - Fredrik Lindgren 10th - Chris Holder 9th - Rune Holta 8th - Janusz Kolodziej 7th - Greg Hancock 6th - Andreas Jonsson 5th - Jarek Hampel 4th - Nicki Pedersen 3rd - Tomasz Gollob 2nd - Jason Crump World Champion - Emil Sayfutdinov Should be a thrilling year!
