yes it very hard to do tv without Electricity. They have a power failure in VEtlanda so i

dont think they can ride either since no power means no juice for the track floodlights.

The weather is clear but there are very strong winds and i think that may be the cause of the powerfailure.

Thankfully, it wasn't a general power failure for the stadium as a whole, or the track floodlights (because that could've caused chaos), but a local one in the building containing the referee's box. The TV buses are hooked up to the power supply for that building, and some of the fuses blew after heavy usage during the night.

We were lucky as the failure occured just after heat 10, so it was time for the interval anyway. I estimate the interval got about 5 minutes longer than usual, so no harm done, though it could have been embarrassing at any other time of the night.

/Clerk of the course

Gold to Elit Vetlanda, silver to Lejonen and bronze to Dackarna is the outcome of the 2010 Elitserien season.

Except those eight riders listed in Elit Vetlanda's finals line-up, the following squad riders also rode during the season: Lee Richardson (17 meetings), Adrian Gomolski (11 meetings), Jonas Messing (9 meetings) and the trio of Ales Dryml, Jurica Pavlic and Henric Lindqvist (1 meeting each).

I won't post here much for a while because I really need some time off, but thank you for following the Elitserien season of 2010! And do keep track of Ghostwalker's news regarding Silly Season and general news, in another thread.

Thanks!

the first leg of the Allsvenskan final between Hammarby-Örnarnas has been cancelled because of rain.

an agreement have been reached and both legs of the Allsvenskan will be held tomorrow and both will be held at CanVac arena in Mariestad.

That means that there will be a 32 heat meeting. First half will start at 18.00 and the second half will start at 20.30.

Hammarby has won tonights Allsvenskans 32 heat final. They won the first half with 51-45 and the second half with 55-41.

Despite the victory Hammarby will most likely be denied the promotion to Elitserien.
