Swedish League Grand Finals Tues/wed 5th/6th Oct

Recommended Posts

What a super end to the season in prospect as lejonen and Elit Vetlanda battle it out over 2 legs to decide the Swedish champions-will leigh Adams add another title in addition to his Leszno title.

Not sure whose at home first on the Tuesday but looking how evenly matched the teams are it wouldn`t surprise me if the 32nd heat decided it-top 6 are

Lejonen Holder,Adams,N Pedersen,Dennis Andersson,M Max,Ruud

Elit Vetlanda Richardson,Kolodziej,Hampel,THJ,Crump,Vaculik

Vetlanda slight favourites perhaps. Can`t wait bring on the quality streams.

From 6pm uk time both days http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport

Alan i`m sure will update about Wockys coverage

No he didnt. However he didn'tdo particulary well in the semifinals. I know he had a crash in Poland a few weeks ago perhaps it has something to do with that.

If r/r is used for Rico, which riders can take an r/r? all of them?

R/R is only available for the top two of the rolling averages, and that's Jaroslaw Hampel and Janusz Kolodziej. Jason Crump is 3rd, so it would be impossible to use R/R even for him if - God forbid - he got injured, and Lee Richardson is 4th.

I think Patrick Hougaard is the best bet as the replacement for Richardson. Vaculik would have to ride in the main body of the team, with Hougaard being a reserve, probably along side Robin Aspegren as the Swedish junior rider.

My guess for the Elit Vetlanda team, in the away meeting, would be:

Janusz Kolodziej

Martin Vaculik

Jaroslaw Hampel

Thomas H Jonasson

Jason Crump

Robin Aspegren

Patrick Hougaard

Thanks for this, my friend. These two matches have the potential to be the humdingers of the season. Eagerly awaited.

David Ruud could be the key for the Lions, he's been getting some very good scores lately. I'm not sure how Hougard gets on here though.

Rico only scored 4 here, although his team did have a big win (41-55) Nicki was not going very well then, tonight he probably will.

Should be good.

I wonder what frame of mind Holder and Mroczka will be in after last night? I hope, for Lejonen's sake they look uupon it as a chance to redeem themselves and "get on with it". I think Holder needs to look at his schedule for next year. Although young he looks burnt out. Sunday Pardubiche, Monday Poole, Tuesday... Wed... it's a lot to ask of your body. I think this has the elements to be a really great advert for team speedway and will join you guys later. Regards. Alan.
