I thought this was an absolute cracker last year. The best in years and probably the best line up too. Its different and the sight of 8 riders hurtling to the first bend is a sight i always look forward to. Great fun.

 

Edit: Adam Shields was also announced as riding next week also.

I've always enjoyed the actual race, but found the qualifying to be a bit tedious.

 

I made the suggestion the qualifying could be spiced-up by using Olympique-style handicap racing. Sadly, the idea of trying soemthing different doesn't seem to appeal - ironic really when the 16-lapper was born out of a desire to do something completely new for British speedway.
