racers and royals
In all honesty Falubaz, for the second season running, have done fantastically well just to make the final. Unia Leszno are simply a much better team than Falubaz. "we apologise if anyone was offended by Freddie`s language "

Steve Shovlar
No, of course it isn't the rule, but it's easy to understand a manager picking his strongest rider from Ht 1 for Ht 4, unless his other rider in Ht 1 is a bit of a star. For example, Bydgoszcz would always pick Sayfutdinov for Ht 4, regardless of his score in Ht 1. Torun don't have a junior performing consistently well, so the manager rotates them based on scores in earlier heats. Well, until an over-hyped Aussie throws a strop, that is. Â Over hyped? I think it's pretty clear to every speedway fan no matter what team they support that ward will be in the GP series within the next two years and be one of the biggest stars in the sport for years to come. Â His Polish club might not be capable of getting the best out of him but there will be other Polish teams lining up to sign him. I have no doubt in years to come that he will be challenging his mate Holder and Emil for the world title. Â Toruns loss is another clubs gain. Bradford Ace
Gotta agree. Ward is a special talent & if Torun get rid of him then they could well regret it as every other club in the league will be after him. He might throw the odd strop but what is he, 17 or 18?? Give the lad a break, he's still a bairn & is an exceptional talent on the bike. Â Congrats to the Bulls who won the title today with an awesome display & with a top 3 of Adams, Hampel & Kolodziej then its hardly likely as all 3 have been on fire for most of the season. Â Personally i'm really chuffed for Leigh Adams who is the sports ultimate professional. Great to see him go out with a title under his belt as he so deserves it. Â Been a fantastic ambassador for the sport & especially the Elite League as he's never dropped us over here like a lot of the top stars have done. Â Just hope the weather improves over here so we can give him a good send off at BV tomorrow nite although not looking likely at this stage as it hasnt stopped raining for 2 days solid!!! racers and royals
Bydgoszcz need a 5-1 in heat 15 to tie the aggregate scores or they are relegated. Â Edit Bydgoszcz are RELEGATED Holta beat aj for the vital 2nd place-Czestochowa should easily beat the runners up in div1 to secure their place in the extraleague Edited September 19, 2010 by racers and royals
Rico
Bydgoszcz need a 5-1 in heat 15 to tie the aggregate scores or they are relegated. I'm guessing that if Byd got a 5-1 they'll be in the race-off with 1st Divsion team as they finished above Czestochowa on points difference in the regular season. Â Sadly irrelevant now as Czestochowa will race-off now and Bydgoszcz are relegated again. Â Rico

Hazzman
Hmm, there's a chance E/Liga might always extend to 10 teams a season earlier.
Mateusz
No, Ekstraliga won't extend earlier. Â Emil will leave Bydgoszcz - he will not want to ride in the sh!t Division 1 again and I don't blame him at all. You have to compete with the best if you wanna be the best. Â Jonsson can simply f.ck off, his time in this team has definitely come to an end. He's an overrated, fallen star. He was awesome in his first season in Bydgoszcz (2004). But then every next year it was only worse and worse, I don't know what happened to that rider but he's completely cocked up this season. Â I really don't know what will happen with speedway in Bydgoszcz now. I think we may get stuck in Division 1 for at least couple of years, but I'd like to proven wrong next year at this time. Â For me it's time to focus on other aspects of life, I guess. Other than league speedway. It's not worth my nerves, my time and my health. Â Thanks god for Mr Gollob and his brilliant form this year - he's my only joy coming from speedway this year! Â Only just seen the Bydgoszcz result after working most of the day.Mateusz,Mama, you have my sincerest comiserations,so sad to hear that Polonia will be in Liga 1 next year!I honestly thought at the start of the Polish league season that Polonia would be up there challenging with the best, but sadly due to Emils' injuries and inconsistent performances from other riders,it just hasn't happened!Keep your heads up and you'll hopefully be back amongst the best very soon! ladyluck
He did last time Bydgoszcz went down - but I guess this will be a big test of loyalty.  Fingers crossed for a swift return to the top flight.  Rico  I don't think Sayfutdinov was a regular in the season Bydgoszcz were last relegated, so relegation gave him a big opportunity. He can only have been 16-years-old in that fateful season. He wasn't a double world-under 21 champion, or a GP star.
