Peterborough V Coventry 20/09/10

Recommended Posts

PETERBOROUGH fans will have the best of both worlds at the East of England Showground tomorrow night (Monday, September 20, 7.30 pm).

They will be able to watch the Readypower Panthers and semi final rivals Coventry battling it out for a place in the Elite League Grand Final.

And they’ll also be able to watch the racing from the other semi final between Poole and Wolverhampton on a giant TV screen.

The official match magazine for the match will also carry a full scorecard for the Wimborne Road meeting – allowing supporters to keep a permanent record of both semis on the same night!

If Peterborough can overcome the 14-point first leg deficit then they would have the home leg of the Grand Final against favourites Poole on Monday, September 27.

But if Wolves do pull off a shock – the teams are tied after the first leg – then the Panthers will travel to Monmore Green on September 27 with the return leg at the East of England Showground on Monday, October 4.

RELEASE DATE: Sunday 19 September 2010

Should be coming along to this one. Haven't been to the EOES in a while and always enjoy my visits there.

Thinking the Panthers will win by about 6-8, hopefully we can hold onto the lead we have. I'm sure we can.

Adam. :)

Should be worth the effort! The score could be anything but unless Coventry have a mare and everything falls into place for Panthers then Peterborough have left themselves too much to do. Coventry don't need to win and they can pick their races to do the damage. Rosco will know that and will not panic!

If the track is anything like it was today, then its not about a blue groove, but a blue motorway.Absolutely shocking.A good two thirds of the track was 'blue' from very early on.So little shale it was rediculous. Not even inches from the fence worked.Using a hosepipe was pathetic in the least, uneven and patchy watering was, well, useless tbh.

Still,Bjarne had a few laps practice before the double header got under way, with Havvy watching from the pits.

Boastie's not the series leader! Going into today's penultimate Round Ade led and confirmed the STUK title by his win today. But Ed has performed superbly well in the four Short Track meetings he's ridden in, with one first place and two runner-ups..! :approve:

I started last week and still going ... (I was very unhappy)

Well you may need a skin full tommorrow can not see you get close at all . Panthers have a better chance but it is all about the tac rides they could use if 10 down and 12 down . This is the biggest meeting for both sides for many years and i will be cheering them on in a pub ;)
