SuddenSam15
Would have thought a slick track would suit the panthers better ? Can't see tarts like Troy and Kenny likeing that much got to be a bluff to catch Cov out . You have that special gift of a way with words don't you Orion
speedybee
Perhaps he's saying it will be deep and grippy but in actual fact he may make it slick on the day to catch the Bees out? Treble bluffing is the order of the day... same with Matt 'Hair' Ford on Sky talking up how he would have preferred to go to Coventry rather than Monmore - after the match! Expect a slick track on Monday...
flyin rocket
Expect a slick track on Monday... Yes I agree and some fine gating from the Panthers septet.. Pity we never managed to get Buckowski back at reserve - he would have cleaned up at the Showground with a 17+ return from 7 rides! Rigsby
Surely if Panthers gate and get to the first corner in front it doesnt matter what the track is like being there home circuit?! Exactly!
Gemini
Luckily for Panthers they have a meeting on Friday to get themselves really sorted. The weather is fine this week so they will get that practice. I don't know which weather forecast you have been looking at but it's certainly not 'fine' here in Leicester. It's been really cold and grey for a few days now, raining on and off, like it is doing now. Perhaps you're just looking at the weather down in sunny Dorset? Some of us aren't so fortunate. Maccas
Can't see the track being slick at all for the meeting. The track was lovely and deep and grippy at the start of the season and the team were flying, Norbert and Mat both seem more comfortable in the deep dirt and Buzz can beat anyone round the showground with a bit of dirt down. Making the track deep and scary will definately improve the Panthers chances, Harris will probably be the only one who will really benefit from the extra dirt, Previously Kasprzak has looked rubbish when the heavy dirt goes down and most Poles struggle at the Showground with heavy dirt so I can't see Pawlicki being as all-conquering as the Coventry fans seem to think he is. Steve Turner
philfromcov is suggesting that both the Poole and Peterborough tracks will be so slick that one would be able to view them from space, appearing like the eyes of an owl on the face of planet Earth

Steve Shovlar
21 point win for Panthers tonight against Swindon. And they should have won by more but for Schlen having an EF. Both of the Robins T/rs were effective as well. Coventry might yet find the going too tough.

Coventry are the form team, Home and Away we are winning in style and i think you might be a little concerned Steve that Poole are going to be stung very soon. Coventry the form team? Wait and see. Panthers are more than capable of beating Coventry to go through but they must be in the right frame of mind, go for every point like their lives depended on it and not throw away any silly points on engine failures. Iversen needs to up his game and both reserves need to be on top form to progress. With racing far better at EOES than Brandon I would much rather go the extra distance to witness great racing rather than the gate, go wide and win at Coventry. Still, whoever goes through I am sure Pirates will be waiting for them and ready to race. Edited September 17, 2010 by Steve Shovlar
Gambo
Coventry the form team? Wait and see. The 'Form Team' statement is a statement of fact....not a prediction of future results! Poole last 10 matches:- Won 6, Drawn 1, Lost 3. Coventry:- Won 9, Lost 1. (and currently stringing 8 consecutive wins). Look at the 'B' Match table on http://www.kandysoft.com/table/Elite_2010.htm ....only a Home draw (with Swindon) separating Poole & Coventry in the 2nd half of the season. ...just a statement of fact.
