Czestochowa beat Bydgoszcz 48-42 in the 1st leg relegation play-off tie. should be a tense 2nd leg next Sunday in Bydgoszcz. losers are relegated and the winners meet the runners up in div 1 for the right to stay in the extraleague(1st div team will lose)

Former Czestochowa star Grzegorz Walasek looks to have produced some heroics for Polonia as they bid to retain their Ekstraliga status.

Damn, really wanted Wroclaw to win!!

Me 2 mate & crap sporting day all round for me sadly!!!

Cant believe ZG have got to the final as had loads of luck. Would never have beaten Gorzow if Nicki P wasnt injured & then all that on weds nite with Swiderski's bikes so their luck must be due to run out soon.

Think Leszno will do em over 2 legs - certainly hope so as will be fitting way for Leigh Adams to end his career with a title in Poland.

HEY,HEY FALUBAZ!!!HEY,HEY FALUBAZ!!!TYLKO FALUBAZ!!

Credit where credit is due David ba and Bradford Ace.For some reason Falubaz always come good when it matters(the play-offs).They did it last season and have pulled off 2 astonishing results at Gorzow and Wroclaw, when it really matters! Can't see them winning the Ekstraliga against a flying Leszno team at the moment, but stranger things have happened!

Falubaz have performed well as a team in the play-offs and deserve their place in the Final.

However, I suspect that it wont be a joyful occasion for the fans from the Green Mountains. They were hammered both at home and away in the regular season by Leszno, and there doesn't seem to be anything to suggest that it'll be different in the play-offs.
