With a comfortable win over Scunny on sat the Cobras will be in confident mood when they take on the Isle of wight ..Good comeback perfomances from Marc and Joe..Lee back to his best..though i believe the I.O.W will provide tough opposition as they have been in fine form lately...Could be a close match..but on sats form i would expect the Cobras to prevail..

Thanks for the updates..It was a closely fought match up to heat 9 with the visitors 2points ahead at that time..But a 5-1 from Hughes and Jacobs in heat10 saw the Cobras start to pull steadily away..Another strength in depth performance as on sat, saw the team home for all 3 points keeping alive their hopes of a play off spot..Dean Felton and Paul Stark were the pick of the visitors

Not the best of meetings,I must say.

Strange goings on in Ht3.As the riders entered the 1st turn, all but Mason slowed up.Owen, who was ahead of Johnson and Warwick, had a bike problem, causing the other two riders to take evasive action.Meanwhile Mason kept going and was well on the way to the 3rd turn.Owen pulled onto the centre green,THEN the red lights came on.

If they came on before,I hadnt noticed. So,should Owen have been allowed into the rerun? Let alone going onto win it.

A definite point lost by IOW.

Not the best of double headers,to be honest.Worrying for me was the amount of dust, right from the start. With the World U21 Team Cup Final there on Sunday,I hope they have better provisions lined up.This was a dust fest.

Nothing to debate - much better meeting than that shambles of a first match icon_lol.gif

Nothing to debate...exactly

The score was obviously alot closer in the National League match but from memory there wasn't one single pass so how that meeting can be better I'm not sure.

From the first meeting there were a number of passes to remember from Sundstrom, Hughes, Neath and good riding from Smart = much more entertaining and presumably less dust!

 Debatable!

You can debate it, but I found the match more entertaining. I'd debate it with you, but to be frank I can't be bothered, as whatever I say you will undoubtedly disagree with anyway.

Well maybe you should ask Searley on his thoughts of the meeting, after all he left after heat 5 ;)

Shocker. Since I knew he was planning on leaving before the NL meeting, hardly a surprise.
