Ja-Jacek
I guess I'll go with Mama's report then, since Mark Uzzell clearly did not finish second in heat three. EDIT2: Any idea about the size of the crowd? Looked decent... Here you have Mama's report from competition: http://www.czarnysport.pl/knapp-bezbledny-w-gnienie,6235 Edit. I wrote, that approx. 2.000 spectators (most without tickets )
iris123
Interesting meeting planned in Weissenbach (Austria), the 6th of January. Top riders from Austria, Suisse, Germany, Chech Republic, Netherland and the best one from Poland... http://nicesport.pl/wiadomosci/40125/grzegorz-knapp-wystartuje-w-silnie-obsadzonym-turnieju-w-austrii/ More information here: http://www.msc-weissenbach.at/ Günther Bauer could be riding a new GM engine in this meeting. Mama
I think there were approx. 2000 with tickets and more then 2000 without I'm always trying to check the results ... This time there was also small problem with results of heat 7. The speaker at the track said 3rd was Schukken and 4th Reitsma. I saw it in different way so I waited for the results at the organizer's site. And for the next time I was right About Mark exclusion - I totally agree with You! As for me it was Bruckner (red) fault and Mark just tried not to hit Bruckner ... He've got "great" reward - exclusion ...
Icicle
After watching the match via UTube, I would agree that Uzzell was not at fault, typical silly ref! Also Knapp seemed in a different league to the others! Great filming! Ta!
iris123
Next Saturday (8th of January - start at 13:30) the meeting will be held in Poznan at Malta lake (line up will be known later). Any news on the line-up for this?I know Seppänen is in.But who else will be riding?

iris123
Or just the direct link rather than one imbedded on another website Russian Final Some good racing in the first 4 heats.Heat 1 looked close on the line. And in heat 4 Krasnikov lost out on the first turn and then had a battle on his hands to keep second place.Ht 6 a great heat by Dimon from last to first, then a nasty looking crash to stop the race.Ht 7 Dmitri K looked to have that, but Kononov took him well....looking good here.Ht 8 and Krasnikov easy, but a great race behind him for the other places.Makarov looking out of it comes through from the back into second and Korchemaha slides off and looks ok.Great racing as ever from one of the best meetings of the season And why can't we have weird and wacky entertainment likes this stuff from Russia during track prepGreat stuff after or even before a few bevvys : ht9 and again Nikolai finds himself in third after the first bend!!Can only finish in second place. Is he going to find it hard this year?To lose to Kononov isn't too bad.But to struggle against Vitali and Karachintsev!Dimon had a little battle with Kononov there.Hope he makes it through to the World Finals again.Lot of falls occuring now the track is rutted Karachintsev sleeping there against Makarov?Heat 14 and a great race between Dimon and Vitali K And again Nikolai finds himself behind, but manages a great ride to take Dmitri K .Ht 18 and another nasty crash 1.
